  • I was going to ask if you shot it with an air rifle because the shot was so quite. Sub-sonics are pretty quite. Great shot to the head.

  • I'll show no mercy to ground hogs, they completely OWNED my shed, you can't even walk in there anymore, they made creeks running threw it, and some how dug just right to tip my lumber piles over. not to mention its chewed on now.

  • what grain subsonic

  • @Radford87 40gr

  • anyone else see the cloud of dust come off the hog? feel kinda bad cuz it looks soft as hell but i see why it needed to be dispatched

  • I wish I had ground hogs just so I could kill them!

  • Makes me wanna watch caddy shack again

  • @jt76801 that was a gopher i'm pretty sure.

  • How many more weeks of winter does this mean?

  • I wonder if it seen its shadow before it was killed?

  • Now what we going to do when its Groundhogs Day? lol

  • Allen! Allen! Allen! Allen! Of wait, thats Steve. Steve! Steve! Ste- BANG!

  • Now Winter will never end!!!

  • that first part scared the piss out of me

  • throw tnt in the hole that should do

  • we had a wood chuck problem on our property over the summer. We actually shot and killed about seven of them with my remington 597. those things are mean as hell too!

  • Wrong caliber. Need 30 caliber minimum. If he is in a single piece when you clean him up you failed.

  • good shot! :-)

  • can you eat them i ask cuz there is alot of meat one them :D and even if you cant eat em thats alot of pelt :D

  • nice! Thanks!

  • Loooool groundhogs look sooooo stupid lol xD nice shot!

  • Thru the head out the back?! NICE SHOT!

  • Sweet video!

Do you think a .22 16ft/lb air rifle could kill a groundhog like this?

  • nice shootin, tex!

  • good eating

  • whats a good airgun for a youth that is small game hunting? it needs to be 100 dollars or less

  • good eating

  • aweee its so cute.

  • as u lie there and die i feel your pain little creature

  • its so cute

  • Animals were put on Earth so that we can shoot them.

  • Why did you clean it and eat it instead of just throwing it away?

  • Why not eat it? Ground hogs are tasty.

  • those little assholes eat my tomatoes ive been trying to grow

  • HEY MR. GROUNDHOG!!!! **waves**

  • see this is why they dont come out of the hole!!

  • I live in the city, although, not really urban.. and I swear one of these bastards is digging a big hole under my foundation.. I'd love to shoot the thing so bad. Just worried about bullet travel.

  • can't you trap and relocate, or would they just move back in?

  • @ImSoOffended no they are a rabies vector species and are not to be relocated to disturb another habitat.

  • @ImSoOffended

    To you're fukin house??

  • @ImSoOffended If you trap and relocate then all you're doing is making it someone else's problem. Plus in some places it's illegal to transport them without a license.

I prefer gas myself (if you don't know there's a product called "Gopher Gassers")

  • @ImSoOffended that might be illegal too

  • These things attack my mom's plants.... I mean they used to:)

  • @AddictedToGuns Yankee Hill

  • 0:47 thumbs of for dramatic squirrel!

  • i love it

  • i wish there was a better way to cook groundhog so that it tasted good

  • nice spine shoot

  • nice, i whent out to colorado last summer. and while i was up there my aunts freind has a ranch, and so we whent out at like 6 am, shot about 9 groundhogs. than his neighbor called in some coyotes like he does every morning. and we dropped about 9 coyotes. we were using real guns though. i had a .17 and all the others had 22's. then we were dropping the coyotes with .223's, 30-30's, and 357 lever action rifle. and i even dropped one with a 38 special handgun. it was like 30 yds away

  • 0:50 best shot

  • Was your aim center of mass or did you go for the head shot?

  • @Spriglief was aiming for the head he moved at the last second

  • I have been out smarted by these things so many times. haha

  • 10/22's are fabulous guns but for varments i prefer the savage model 93 in 17 hmr.

  • Of course it's a real gun if he had magazine trouble dumbass. And it is alot faster 800 fps other dumbass

  • end of Ground hog Day nice shot

  • OWNED!!!!

  • did he see his shadow?

  • awww but he was so cute

  • hey can you help me its my first time doing groundhog control do you have any methods that wud help me shoot one ??????

  • @madetoluvGOD you should probably have a loaded gun, that would help....

  • @madetoluvGOD aim...

  • @madetoluvGOD

Honestly, your question is similar to "how do I play basketball?" There's a lot to learn about hunting, even if its in your own backyard. Spend a good month researching it on the internet reading everything you can. Then get yourself a rifle and practice shooting paper targets at different distances for the next month and then you'll be ready.

  • BIG GROUNDHOG

  • ive always had luck with brocoli but i have to try that vanilla thing. thanks for the tip!! they think there gonna eat my concord grape plants this year they got another thing coming!!

  • did you used an air rifle or a real gun

  • i hit the two living behind my back yard at least twice with my 10/22 and they jumped and took off into their hole. Managed to kill the first one i shot at a few weeks prior he scooted around and finally kicked the bucket he was huge too....whats ur opinion on switching to a .17 HMR.

  • nice, would love to see more of that :)

  • thats a kill, nicce and clean.

  • I remember having to do the same with some good-sized rats that kept getting into the animal feed at a friend's house. We hit ten of them in one night and that didn't seem to slow the damn things down. It took us an entire weekend to make them lighten up in their raids. We did catch a couple of tweakers trying to hunt for shrooms on one of the nights though, lol.

  • i love hunting these with my dog

  • Excellent shot.

  • lol the groundhog should atleast die in style!! it was wierd though haha nice vid

  • them 10/22 are good guns i got one to

  • very clean shot

  • Very nice shot

  • thats one fat bastard

  • look at that motherfucker right there i love shooting those guys becuse they cause so much damage

  • if the ground hoge comes up and see's it shadow more winter if it see's it getting shot idk

  • i have no problem with this stuff but after seeing it eat i couldn't watch

  • Good clean, 1 shot one kill, the words of respect to animals.

  • 10 people missed the like button.

  • @Rking100000 Well, although I do approve of pest control as it does damage foundation, killing still isnt something II like to do.

  • nice shot

  • clean kill

  • How did you come up with brocolli and vanilla

  • @ocshaman experience

  • @NTEESUPREME lol so you hunt ground hogs often still wtf made you come up with vanilla

  • @NTEESUPREME Good shooting. I didn't know that broccoli & vanilla did the job. I'll have to try that one. Thanks for the vid and once again, great shot .

  • I had to shoot one a few month's back.Hated to do it but I couldn't have it eating my garden.

  • do you have a supressor on it?

  • PHILLLLLL!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! lol

  • nice shot on this 4 of july im going hunting for my first time!!!

  • lol lucky cuz you where aiming at the head but it bend down right when you shot and you hit it in the spine instead

  • I've heard those are some tough little bastards? shot with 12 gauge shotguns and still give up a fight

  • Boom! HEADSHOT!

  • Need to dispatch some groundhogs. Will the Browning Mag 800 air pistol in .22 cal with red dot sight at about 10 yrds with hunting pellets do it? And if so, what pellets would be best for a 600 fps .22 air pistol for groundhogs within 10 yrds? Please respond...

  • @samanthabrownfan its head shots only with that gun! Can u do it? Ive tried when I liven in CO but it was hard to get a shot, the´re too fast! Any accurate pellet will do!

  • @samanthabrownfan at ten yds use the jsb predator polymags headshot brrother

  • damnit screw a 22 id use a 12 guage

  • nice i love hunting ground hogs i live in texas but i got with my grandpa in pennslyvania

  • nice

  • how many fps ?

  • @phillyrocks19123 depends on the bullets used. The SK Jagd HP subsonics avg about 1050fps with a 40gr bullet.

  • @phillyrocks19123 the standard fps for subsonic hp's

  • @NTEESUPREME i assume around 800fps give or take

  • Thats funny, as soon as you got the malfuction fix the hog looked up and was like "I'm fucked".

  • can these things be killed with a crossman 2100? its a .177 caliber

  • @rainmaker1213 any air rifle can be deadly or dangerous to any animal. The question is can your air rifle humanely take a groundhog? The answer is yes but the chances of a quick 1 shot 1kill are unlikely

  • @NTEESUPREME 2010 in the last month ive killed ten groundhogs with my benji trail np not headshots but stopped them in there tracks with one shot

  • awesome shoot!!!!!

  • hahaha poor little fucker was qute lol oh well good shot mate

  • i have a 10/22 also but have not had time to shoot it

  • what ammo was that?

  • @gnomehater63 eley subsonic hp

  • You have to do what you have to do, I like how you let people know you cause for execution !!!!

  • Extraa Slayed!!!!!!!

  • Hey I have a rimington genisis. It says it shoots 1200fps. Is that a good air rifle. All I've shot are grackles can I go for bigger pests

  • yep its a great city limit gun but just hit the right spot

  • i would

  • EXCELLENT SHOT! EXCELLENT VID.

  • so whats wrong with tranqualizers?

  • nothing

  • What are you using for suppression? Tactical Innovations? Gemtech?

  • yankee hill

  • i have a question for you, whats the differance between a .22 cal and .25 cal airgun if they have the same energy?

  • If your hunting or pest controlling the larger caliber is better because it leaves a much bigger wound channel. Which will give you more humane kills.

  • do you trap to. my dads a nuisence wildlife control man in ohio and he traps for his living

  • yes

  • hey can i ask what you do with the carcasses after?

  • If someone has been bitten they have to be bagged and tagged & taken to the lab for testing. Other than that they are taken to the nearest approved landfill.

  • in order to have a suppresser attached to your 10/22 does your barrel have to be laced???please let me know!

  • No it needs to be threaded

  • Are you a proffesional exterminater? because your videos are awesome, and your awsome with guns!

  • Yes I am thanks for the compliment.

  • that music is nice, have you the full song ?

  • Its not a full song just a music sample I will get back to you with the specifics

  • dude sweet cant wait till the nxt vid!!!

  • Good vid...thanks!! Do you have a suppressor on your 10/22?

  • yes

  • got a quick question... my girlfriends been havin problems with groundhogs... tear her yard to shit. Do you think i could take out a groundhog around 20-30 yards using .177 shot with 1000 fps? this is a gamo cfx rifle.

  • probably so but I would say within 20 yards with a perfect shot. I advise the use of predator pellets.

  • thanks dude. ill let you know how it plays out lol.

  • thats how you kill a animalll bang headshot!! not like some assholes over there that shoot and the animal doesn't dies instantly...

  • you should make a video of your trapping...

  • its not very exciting. just find the den on my clients property set and bait the trap then remove it thats basically it.

  • NTEE where can an alaskan get hired for this down here? and hows the pay for u. Seems like a great job cause i pest control shrews (small rats)

  • You have to get in contact with your local ADF&G to see what kind of test you will have to take to get licensed. And as far as pay it differs by regions. Check your competitors prices and set your own prices as long as it pays for bills and equipment your good. Another thing trapping accounts for more than 90% of the work I do not shooting.

  • wow that was close, he was just putting his head down as you fired.

  • I love the noise you make to get his attention.

    He's like, "What was that?"

    Bang...head shot.

    Nice shooting.

  • i would of skined it it was pretty big nice kill

  • 1:08. What was that? Boom! Dead!

  • Great video... When are you makin more videos???

  • Sorry all of my jobs for the last few months have trapping jobs

  • also nice shot and that's one huge groundhog. there's a groundhog hole by my grandparent's farm that goes straight down like 5 feet and i hope to shoot that groundhog soon!

  • good luck

  • Flush that fucker out with a pipe bomb!

  • it doesn't matter but you want to make sure they die on the first shot and not to run off and the die like a day later inside they're hole. you also don't want them to suffer cause that's just not cool. headshots are ussualy easier to do to cause sometimes you can't even see they're belly.

  • were is the best part ti shot the animal? head? heart?

    Tanks a lot

  • if your using a basic 1000fps air rifle head shots are must no further than 20 yards. If your using a rimfire or a high power high end air rifle heart shots are good as long as they are away from their holes.

  • nice shot! what would you recommend a .17HMR or 22LR? please respond and send a friend request if you enjoy hunting. thanks!

  • The hmr is a great little round. I believe both to be excellent for ground hogs. The hmr will be more accurate at longer distances, but my focus is on quiet control so as my clients and their neighbors are not disturbed by my presence.

  • what ur favorite pellet to use?

  • For an air rifle JSB exacts and for this rifle Eley subsonic hollow points

  • amazing kill NT

  • Very nice shot!

  • Nice and clean 5*

  • what bait could i use to make them come up out of the ground.

  • For moles you set the traps over top of the holes no bait used.

  • What was your first airgun

  • A Crossman pumpmaster 760 23years ago.

  • that was my first too. a solid gun for the price and the purposes of a first time shooter

  • What are some ways to get rid of mole?

  • Victor plunger mole traps are the best.

  • whats custom about your 10/22?
