Excellent work mister. With no words you can exactly explain how to make green tea. I've seen here on youtube many videos but this one is undoubtebly the best.
you have made weak tea. your must use at least 1 spoonful of tea for each person and an extra spoonful for the pot. Since you have poured the water into the cup the heat has mostly escaped and the tea is lukewarm now. next time you should measure how far the water reaches in the pot and directly pour the steaming water into the teapot.
@catastrfy123 Isn't green tea brewed differently from most teas? I'm sure you have to brew green tea in cooler temperatures otherwise the tea won't taste as good; that's why he didn't pour the water directly into the teapot and rather let it sit in the tea cups.
@debbster619 I think it's more about having hot water, but not intensively boiling water. I think the water is supposed to be just starting to boil. :)
@catastrfy123 You obviously know nothing about preparing green tea. Green tea must be prepared with much cooler water so that the leaf will not be burned. The proper way to prepare Japanese green tea is to first pour it into the cups, then the pot. Do your research first.
You have study more about Sencha. First is to be absolutely sure that the tea is grown and produced in Japan. Find more information about the different kinds of Sencha, preparation etc. in the net. It's very exciting to drink Japanese green tea.
You are using a Chinese green tea that has been fried or boiled (dont remember which one) before drying. Japanese green tea is steamed which locks in the chlorophyll in the leaves giving the tea a bright green color when steeped. When in the store be sure to get Sencha tea instead of just generic green tea.
Left to the right ---> Hot water, warm water and cold water.
Just came on my mind. x---D

Every single drop used.
Is this stuff worth the cost over the yellow/orange supermarket tea bags? It tastes much better? Better for your health?
god0fgod 6 months ago
@god0fgod the tea is actually not that expensive, maybe around 3, 4 dollars per ounce
