@donny29dsm Hardly toys. They ARE real rifles, just using a different power source. For a lot of situations a conventional powder weapon is just too noisy and too powerful, not to mention expensive ammo and license requirements in most countries.

Firearms spend a lot more time hanging on the wall for most these days. These airguns are every bit as 'real' as firearms as well.... same wood and steel construction along with level of workmanship.

well id say there no set "top 10" on air rifles or firearms in general since theres quite a few factors every person has to take into consideration before buying any, ex. price, accuracy, power, ammo cost, reliability and depends on what your using it for, an average person wouldnt spend $500 on a mere plinking rifle or $80 for a hunting/pest control/small gam hunting whatever you will call it, point is overall the best airguns or firearms, its an opinion that each owner/shooter has

Evanix AR6 is listed, a decent hunting air rifle.....but WHERE are the BSA PCP air rifles? My BSA Lonestar .25 pumps out 45 foot pounds in stock trim, groups 5 shots into 1/2" at 50 yards, and I routinely take out prairie dogs to 100 yards in windy central Montana. To have a top 10 list and not list a BSA (Superten, R10, Lonestar, Scorpion, Hornet, Ultra) or the Daystate Hunstman Classic.....I have to think somebody is a few bricks shy of a full load.

@karabesklow not for me. iv shot with both and personaly i love my s type its the best one for me because iv shot with rapids for a long time. not the lightest gun in the world but i like to feel there is something there and its as accurate as any other hunter out there. shes set on 25 and she can humanely dispatch bunnys at 65 yds every time. i know the for mentioned can also but the rapids the girl for me thats all im saying

S-type and HW100s are great; the AR6, Talon, Discovery, and Dominator are nice also. Drozd (automatic) is awesome and (by far) the most fun, specifically because it's selective-fire automatic (it's not even a fair comparison fun wise). Discovery is a solid PCP for the price, accuracy is reasonable but don't like the plastic trigger and some other cost cutting. The break barrels are quite good also (Falcon Hunter needs a wood stock though). Top ten list or not, these are all excellent airguns.

@theairgunsource theres a baikal version of that one too, Baikel made the Drozd. But in the Netherlands the CX4 is illegal, since its semi-automatic, and a bit of a techinical guy can rebuild it to full-automatic.

depends on what you want out of it any daystate or theoben will out do any other rifle on earth in terms of acuracy and build quality both makes sell rifles that go past 50 ft/lbs i'd say the theoben s-type would be the best 700 shots per fil !

well i don't know thats why i won't get them, the daystates with electronics in cost over £1000 everyone says that the daystate airwolf which has a build in chronagraph and shot counter and digital presure guage in it, but in my opinion it's just unnecesay crap. and more to go wrong.(not saying it WILL go wrong but still) out of those two i'd go for the daystate. they are the best air rifles money can buy

Gamo are by far one of the best? Muppet. That's like saying Hyundai make the best cars. Get a clue dude. I own a Gamo Hunetr 440, and a Gamo Hunter Extreme. They are just fine, but nothing compared to my Theoben MFR, or my mate's Styer. Check them out.

When your knowledge about guns increases in a few years then you know what I meant.

I said "My top ten favorites", that doesn't mean they have equal power, but if you compare their price or ease-of-use you'll see why I chose them.

Sumatra .25 has 78ft/lbs power, multishot and costs $550. Condor 25 has single-shot, 23.8" barrel,more accurate, 70-90ft'lbs at $800 to $1500.But a breakbarrel Falcon at $250-350 has 27ft/lbs, no need for scuba, and nice 50 yard punch, all relative.
