  • ProShow Producer can be purchased from Photodex, the slide styles can be purchased from ChoiceBackgrounds. The program is not free, but I do have new free slide styles on my website (choicebackgrounds) every month.

  • A nice video. I don't speak English but your English is clear. Please go on making this kind of videos. Greetings from Peru.

  • I have got a question: What kind of computer I must have to install it? I have pentium 4, is it ok?

  • @lordliberal I would ask that question to Photodex, the company that makes the ProShow Program. I just make Slide Styles and video backgrounds!

  • @TayRen0319 Thanks for answering. But I have tried to ask them but they don't respond. I am sad for that. Please anyone who can answer me? :(((

  • @lordliberal I found this information listed under the Specs for the program on their website: Hardware Support System Requirements Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 (64-bit Windows 7, Vista and XP supported) 1024x768 display 1GHz+ processor 1GB system memory Accelerated 3D graphics - 64MB ram DirectX 8.0 or better DVD+R/RW/-R/RW writer 70 MB hard drive space Optional Requirements For Blu-ray output, a Blu-ray writer is required. Additional RAM and free hard drive space is also recommended.
  • I wanna made presentation in ProShow and put it for example here or change format of this presentation to play it in normal program for example windows media player or something. I want save it in oder format than .exe like .avi or something. How?

    I hope you will understand.

  • @MusztardaPoObiedzie Ok, I think I understand now! With your show open in Producer choose Create>Video File. Then choose which format you want to output your video file format to:)

  • What - presentation

    On what- Youtube

    Sorry for my english (:

  • @MusztardaPoObiedzie ok....Let me see if I understand...you want to change the format of this YouTube video or the format of something that you are using in ProShow Producer?

  • I have got a problem with this. I mean format of this is strange for me. I want put it on for example this side and i can't. How change a format?

  • @MusztardaPoObiedzie I am so sorry.....I just don't understand your question:( You want to put "what" on "what side" of "what"?!

  • If you mean how did I get them, I actually made those several years ago, but they are for sale on my website, Choice Backgrounds. The Tri Split is in the Starter Bundle.

  • How to get templates ?

    can u help me please.....

  • You can purchase templates from my website at Choice Backgrounds (add either com or net to Choice Backgrounds)

  • Hi Webdeb808....you can't convert the program from 3 to 4, you have to purchase the upgrade from Photodex. The tutorial explains how to convert Producer 3 templates into Producer 4 slide styles:)

  • Thanks for having these great tutorial videos! I own Producer 3.5,, and just barely scratching the surface. You have a tutorial to convert my 3.5 to 4.0. I think I'm brain farting, because it doesn't do it....

  • Well, I won't be explaining it very well, but a Square Pixel has a ratio of 1 to 1; a square. Some Aspect ratios will change the pixels in your photos so the pixels actually resemble a rectangle, or a ratio of 1 to 2.

My advice; in ProShow, go with auto if you're not sure. If you have an image or video that you KNOW is 16x9, but it isn't looking right, change the aspect ratio to 16x9.

  • Do you actually know what the "Square Pixels" option is? I have seen it in both Producer 3.x and 4.0.

  • ProShow Gold is the basic slide show program; good if you simply want to show off your photos. If you want to create stunning videos, you'll want Producer. It gives you more creative freedom with Keyframing, Masking, Chroma Key, Templates and a lot more. It has a higher learning curve, though, since it is a much more robust program.

  • what is the different between pro show gold and pro show producer??? thanks!

  • It sounds like you may be creating a 16x9 show and playing it on a 4x3 tv. If that is the case, make sure under the Show Options you have 4x3 selected.

  • Your tutorials are great! I use Proshow producer and recently I've made a slideshow. What happens is that when I've recorded it on a DVD, I've noticed the pictures aren't fullscreen on the TV. What can I do to put them in fullscreen?

  • Thanks for this.
