What the hell is the problem people? Russia was best when it really mattered. Sweden was worst when it really mattered, as we always are.

Canada didn't play well either, sorry guys - you can't blame it all on your goalies, and the US played really well against Sweden and deserved the bronze.

No matter what angle you look at it, the best team ALWAYS ends up as the winner. Weird/unlucky/lucky bounces are a part of the sport. Everyone gets them.

Lundqvist had more shutouts than anyone else last season and he plays in a team with horrible D. We got youngsters like Rundblad, Larsson, Zibanejad and Landeskog that are going to be amazing in a few years. Zetterberg, Holmstrom, Backstrom etc. Watch some hockey dude. Oh, you dont have 80+ players that are better than Swedens top 20.

Also the real argument here was that you said you had 3-4 teams that could beat Swedens top team. Sure you got better top 23 players than Sweden does, but that wasnt the argument was it ? Canada lost this year and yes while It does suck, I am not too broken up about it. We can't win every year. If we did win every year, it would get stale. I want other countries to push us and make us better. If Canada won everything, the game wouldn't grow. As much as I want to win, I want hockey to be healthy.

P.S I would also like to point out to the people talking smack on us that Canada's best junior eligible players never play in this tournament. Can anyone else say that? I didn't think so
