To answer Kirdar1000's Q, "What makes this song Iraqi?" 1) The drum beat is very unique to Iraqi songs. 2) The girl's dance, and the way they hold and pass each other, is again uniquely Iraqi, and characteristic head movements. 3) The uninquely iraqi dance hand movement...up and down and/or back and forth. 4) The girl's costume...is characteristic to the Iraq region. 5) The song's somewhat somber or, for the lack of a better word, "sad" tone is characteristic to old style Iraqi songs.
