I love this song, its so beautiful the music is enchanting, and I love how its so traditional with the clothes and dancing, my absolute favourite music video. I wish they made videos more like this its so unique.
To answer Kirdar1000's Q, "What makes this song Iraqi?" 1) The drum beat is very unique to Iraqi songs. 2) The girl's dance, and the way they hold and pass each other, is again uniquely Iraqi, and characteristic head movements. 3) The uninquely iraqi dance hand movement...up and down and/or back and forth. 4) The girl's costume...is characteristic to the Iraq region. 5) The song's somewhat somber or, for the lack of a better word, "sad" tone is characteristic to old style Iraqi songs. Thanks
been to pakestan for 3 days and they dont speak arabic at all and their music is very similar to indian music, not like mid-eastern music . So why did she go to have a show in pakistan I dont understand .
@iqra31 what I meant to say that I dont see any point to have an arabic concert in a totally different culture with different musical taste . I wouldnt recommend a mongolian group to have a concert of mongolian music for us french people.
@34aria216 kardes sen simdi neden bana boyle bi tepki verdin ki? herhalde yazdiklarimi anlayamamissin.. muzigin sinirlari olmadigini, arapça muzik dinlemek icin arap olmaya gerek olmadigini yazan birisine boyle bir cevap ilginç.. selametle
@Valjeann Dude I am half Iranian half Arabic guy who grew up in Turkey. As an expert about what you are B.S.ing I can tell you that people of Turkey love Arabic songs as Iranians love Turkish songs. So I would suggest you not to do any ignorant comment about the things that your European brain can afford. PS: For Arabic rhythms you don't need to be familiar to get excited. The best soul touching rhythms in the world.
@aliz1z1 I agree with everything you say. I can't read it but your script looks beautiful--just like the sounds that are coming out of my speakers when I play this song.
Let it be that new artistes are pouring into the industry. Try as they may to gain attention; they will seek media's attention, belly dance, dress suggestively, modify their looks with surgeries but NO ONE will ever even come close to revoking your position and your standards no matter what they do. Just continue to be yourself and continue to rock on...
You're the best Diana...For so long, you've progressed with the same image, style and nature of presentation and everytime you come up with something new, you appear even better! You have secured an honourable and respected position for yourself in the Arabic Music Industry and NO OTHER ARTISTE can ever change that!
Im not Arab n don't understand it but all I listen to is Arabic n I dance khaleeji, u don't hv to be Arab to like it
