Since I ride motorcycles all of my three (luckily only) almost-accidents were caused by the car drivers who had to pay quite severe fines.

That isn't proof, that's suggestion. I'm sure accidents between bikes & cars do occur at junctions but the law & fault aren't always the same. A bike can be travelling at illegal speeds, hits a car & it's classed as the car's fault even though bad riding was a huge contribution.
