  • good thing he knows what he is doing.

  • ultamite nut shot!

  • Riiiischioooo

  • i think i,ll clean MY SHORTS!

  • Nice ramp! Very cool videoing.

  • WOW ! The coolest HG take off i ever seen ! Bravo!

Ciao ;)

  • I think that flier thought he was a ski-jumper lol

  • Being a paraglider pilot I think those ramps are scary!!!! That one looks particularly steep and short!!

  • absolutly not.

that one has a perfect angle(40°), and is not short(9m).

in 15 years I've heard about less than five accidents on this ramp....

...instead, on "perfect" paraglider take offs, I've seen thousands of accidents ;)

what is important is to do the right thing at the right time ;)

as I said, here the problem is not the ramp, but the decision of the pilot to dive too much and to fly so close to the tree edge after the take off

a little rotor behind the trees made him falling under them

  • Nothing 'wrong' with the ramp, just scary...........

  • ;) yes, I know....for paraglider pilots the idea to take off from places like that is scary...and also for some hang glider pilots...

..but is also a good thing...makes you concentrate a lot on what are you doing, and distraction errors are really difficult to make. ;)

p.s.:on last saturday 2 paraglider pilots took off from that ramp!!! THAT WAS REALLY SCARY !!!! ;DDD

    bye

  • the pilot had more than enough speed to climb long before the tree. Rotor...not likely...he didnt move until the last possible moment, he's in control...more like just want to show off

  • ohh good take off and bad tree!

  • perfect TO

  • Putana eva :)) !!???!!! Crazy start. Looks like you have made a great job with new wood plates on ramp. What was the problem with the pilot? Did he just speed up at the start? F... Do not never start until you are right at the edge of the start, it can be a big problem if you make a mistake with the angel of a glider at changed angle of a ramp. Nice that it is all ok.

  • yes, "putana eva" is the typical thing you say in thse situations :DDDDD

I think my friend pulled so much the glider to pass few centimeters over those pines, but just behind them he was surprised by a little and weak rotor that caused an uncontrolled dive.....enaugh to cause the bas impact over the pine top.....

regarding the position on start, I agree with you
