@smokinat you might not remember it because it wasn't shown live in most of America because the Persian Gulf war had just started a few days prior, and most stations went to a report of the war instead of showing halftime.

@mst3kanita You are correct. But ABC Sports did have a heart. After the Super Bowl & Davis Rules (a sitcom), ABC did show the non-cable viewers the remaining parts of that halftime show, including NKOTB. It was seen around 10:40 EST (9:40 Central).

With Disneyworld only an hour away from Tampa, it makes sense that Disney would elect to participate in the Super Bowl XXV Half Time Show (just as they did in Super Bowl XVIII). Most of the world only remembers Scott Norwood's missed field goal from this game, not NKOTB. Of course the Giants won and the Bills began their first of four Super Bowl losses.

sorry football or as u say soccer is a big deal around the world...never seen it broadcast in europe...rugby the game its based n is more popular...im sure many places broadcast it but they r not interested in it.... its one of the few american things that does not appeal.
