seriusly if i had a driving license, the money, and a clue how to get it to germany and it to work i would buy it ;D sadly i do not have anything of it.... you should keep it and fix it up! It looks so great!
I think this is wonderful what you are doing, both the fact that you are helping a charity raise funds but that you are encouraging re-use of something that could easily be trashed.
as long as it rolls on a hill, the body is good, you can sell for 500. IF you get it rollin on its own steam, its good for 3000 bucks. there are alot of VW lovers out there.
what ended up happening to the van?

There ARE a lot of VW lovers out there...that's one reason we opted to sell this rather then send it to a scrap yard.

If someone could fix it up and drive it, I guess they might pay $500 to $750 for it. Would that be more than the metal & parts would bring?

$500-$750 is what we are hoping for...and the charity would love it!
