Honestly i was disappointed with the tri-bot. It was alright with some features, but all in all i think the Robosapien was a better buy by half....and currently half the price.

The only thing the tri-bot has on the robodspien and others its speed and mobility...

and even with that, it seems too fall down way too often

I don't know robosapien, but TriBot Definitely CANNOT grab things. Though you can put them in his bendable arms...

U R Welcome. This video was designed for my daughter to decide whether or not her son would be able to deal with the bot, and would it drive her crazy with the chatter. It's an instruction manual for parents with the volume control as the most important step for parents. Have wire cutters handy - It's Wowwee after all with their built-in package rage inducing packaging...

Thanks. As you can see, it has a few fundamental problems, like it talks too much (And you can't shut the sound off, only make it quieter.) And it falls over pretty darn often. Still it is unique by inexpensive robotics standards.
