  • That's how i do to make sound with my desk... Sounds pretty good

  • you have talent why you are wasting it with such a waste?

  • How comes I do this at the dinner table and my fiance slaps me, but if i do it on a box its creative expression? lol

  • this is the same cajon i have. Great box

  • That's what I do whenever I am playing on a table or a wall haha nice

  • Amazinggggggggggggg :D

  • cool technique: and all the gear actually makes that crappy meinl sound kinda good ;-)

  • when i grow up i want to be a cajon player! :D

  • This "big drum" sound reminds me so much of Art of Noise, "Beat Box". Darn good!

  • youre supposed to sit ON the cajon..

  • Rock On!

  • Ha ha ha where's the wood sound gone, why???

  • Cajon rocks!

Check out THE SMACK BALLZ - the world´s 1st cajon-based heavy rock band!

  • Muito bom

  • i used to do that but i dont use a cajon. i use a table and a pen :D

  • nice method i didt it to i gone keep this method ;)

  • Eu faço isso sem precisar usar efeitos! E fica muito melhor!

  • Sounds GREAT :o) I'd like to see the snare stuff inside!

  • I liked it. =]

  • voy a probar...

  • never thought of doin that. i guess the possibilities are endless!

  • this is the tabla technic

  • i can play just like that but i dont have cajon

  • did you use a special gadget to make the sound of your cajon more like a digital sound?

  • @toolmantaylor yeah you can see the pick up attached at the side. its good thoug. perfect for gigs

  • Sounds so much like Radiohead - Idioteque at the begining. Awesome!

  • You can build and play your own cajon any way you want...just like a cigar box guitar...

  • Meinl is gay!!!

    SCHLAGWERK is thosuand times better!

  • @MrProfDrLulli yes!!! haha i love the design of the schlagwerker. i busk with it and people think i'm playing a cardboard box. and i tell them i invented the instrument all by myself so they'll give me money haha

  • jaja very funny guy , what a freak! jajaj q friki este tio

  • Kinda sounds like "Escapade" at the beginning

  • He is south KOREAN

    OK?

  • wow 2 pro...

  • whoa ur good

  • 너무멋있어요.배우고싶으요.

  • This is not the most practical way of playing the cajon. Plus you do not get a lot of snare sound as well as bass. When you sit on the cajon it adds to the sound of Box, when playing like this it seems you are beating on a piece of cardboard rather than playing the cajon.

  • he's trying a new way of playing..

  • There is no right way. That's the beauty of the cajon. ;)

  • You play a guitar with your hands. Jimmy hendrix played with his teeth wasn't perfect but still sounded good. This isnt perfect but still sounds F ing good. If the world was full of ppl like you we would still be riding bicycle's rather than driving cars.

  • I understand what you are sayingbut him playing it like this isnt bad. a snare drum may have been intended to be played in a marching band but was modifying it and playing with a set bad? no it was different which is what this guy is going for. who cares if its not how it was intended to be played? doing things different is how we progress and develop new things. he may not be the best cajon player but he did do something different and maybe thats all he wanted to do was to make his own sound.

  • @magicmaxis car aint progress

  • sit on ur drum your pratically cheating playing it that way and you sure wouldnt get away with it if you were a real musician

  • Great of Spain!!

  • @LekeFlamenko did you try the first cajon, I mean the peruvian one? I invite u to do it :)

  • Nice experiments

  • that is really cool the only problem is you need so much amplification. One of the best things about a cajon is that it needs no help it sounds best when played strait up.

  • Wow, this is really cool.=)

  • omg is that what they use to make beats with your hands. please tell me.

  • no, this is a cajon one of many hand percussion drums, cajons are simply a box with a hole in the back however finely constructed with frames & such on the inside, this is an example of a snared cajon which can be used to play along with a full kit or music on your radio very easily, however there are also other drums that will make cool sounds when you play with your hands such as djembes or congas

  • I love watching you play ;D
