  • wail is the best!!!

sorry no speak inglish,i'from argentina :)

  • How much can I get one of these for?

  • $55-100 used

  • Man i just can't get enough of that YELP .

  • @SunsetApproach me either

  • i love pa 300's but i think this is probably there worst model... since 2003 the pa 300 has had higher pitched tones... i like the lower pitched tones

  • I got 1 left. It is in aweseom shape, Only about a year or two old. I'm going to sell it for $127.00 plus the shipping. I paid over 300.00 for this new.

  • I've notice that the NYFD uses these mostly instead of the Q which I like these but mostly those red Exesion Suv's that the NYFD uses is those Federal SIgnal Smart Sirens which my daddy uses in his State Patrole car.ANd my dad told me how much they run for which os usulaly 1043 $ .

  • 1st its FDNY 2nd most of there trucks dont hav Q's any more they have eq2b but yes they mostly use the pa300

  • True. The FDNY used/ordered trucks with the Q's from I believe 1984-1988, and that was only the Seagrave Ladders. The FDNY has used PA300s since they were available(late 1980's) and will continue to use them as long as they are made. I heard from someone the trucks that have EQ2bs still have PA300s but I'm not sure on that one.

  • i would think they are used as a backup siren in case the eq2b would malfunction and not work

  • yeah its a good siren plus it has a nice sound

  • This is a good siren for fire engines

  • you dont see too many of these babies in Police Cars or ambulances anymore...

  • yea the i think 03s @ least have the toggle switch b/c we have this in our rescu truck and it had the toggle and we bought the truck in 03 or 04 sumwhere around there

    its a great siren w/ the hi-lo

  • plus this ones seems a little more high pitched then the other demo.

  • is this one an older model then the other PA in your siren demo? Thanks

  • I think this is actually a newer model, because instead of the flat toggle switch, it has the cylindrical one, and I believe thats what the newer ones are like.

  • Is there a difference in the tones on this video form the ones on the other PA300 video? It's sounds like this one is higher pictched.

  • i was thinking the same this one sounds more like the fdnys trucks... maybe better speaker or the fact its a newer model.

  • this siren is commonly used here in the philippines by the volunteer fire brigades here..im also using this on our fire truck

  • I'm an explorer and peeked in my advisor's car one day, and this is the siren they use. I don't like it that much.

I think I've heard other police cars of the same department using a Priority/Phaser tone, so maybe all cars don't have the same siren.

    Cool video, though.

  • there is a version of the PA300 with the Priority/Phaser tone.
