once i saw PS in SF doing a reading of moby dick and the amazing thing was that he totally shed his ego and became another-so much so that he pulled a number of us 'in' with him and we nolonger were aware of ourselves. but the more amazing transformation was had by a crazy guy in a seat near me. he wore his pain on his face and then when i awoke from my 'merge' i looked at his face and it was sublime. patrick's art had freed him from his self in the way that the best art does.
