  • Thanks bro for taking the time to watch the video and comment - It means alot to me. Your so right about the note for note thing - one person may like the inprovasational route or just the way you played it better and the next person wants it note for note . If you walk away happy with your performance - thats all that matters - thats the only thing you can control. Thanks again for the nice comment and all the best to you and yours.

  • In reference to your reply... Yeah I always have the same trouble, its hard to know what people want if even themselves don't 100% know what they want... I tend to lean more towards putting my own spin on songs, because learning it note for note frustrates me because its not me i'm not Danny or Josh Freese or Gavin Harrison. Bu yeah some people want improv some people dont... YOU DID AN AWESOME COVER BY THE WAY I COULD NEVER HAVE DONE THIS AS GOOD AS YOU!!!

  • Hey Bro thanks a ton for the nice comment , Its greatly appriciated. A long time ago (i was 20) I was lucky enough to study with Narada Michale Waldon and on my first lesson he asked me to sit down and play. I did for 5-7- minutes then he asked me to do it again . I did and thought I played well (for the time) . He looked at me and said your good but your not getting Neil Pearts gig. Ever sense that day I never learned anything exact note for note. Some folks like it that way some dont..Thanks

  • dude this is great man, i like it that you didnt play the song exactly like danny carey and added your own things to it. it was absolutely incredible.
