Gracias desde California, thanks a lot from California. With all the respect that you own, I want to say, how lucky your husband is, to be married to you....
So the "al" ending in the word "animal" in Brazilian Portuguese and the " ão " ending in the Brazilian Portuguese word constituição are pronounced like the " ow ! " in the phrase "OW ! you just dropped that dresser on my foot in English ?
@bigchickenfu Oi! The pronunciation of "al" and "ão" are not the same. "Al" is just like you said. It sounds like "ow" in the word "now". But "ão" is nasal. The sound of the nasal "a" is different. Check out my video called "How to Use Tão and Tanto Correctly" and see how I pronounce "tão". I hope this helps you :) Obrigada pelo comentário!
What about "anal?"

Should I say "obrigada" because I'm a female? Or is it gender neutral and I can use either the "o" or the "a"?
drbkpowell 6 months ago
@drbkpowell I think when you are a men you need to say obrigado, when you are a woman, you need to say obrigada, but I'm not sure

@coelhonebuloso Brazilian and Portuguese pronunciation/accent can be very different. Good job transitioning between the two.
