  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW INCREBLE PLANE VIVA RUSSIA NUMBER ONE !!!!!

  • who glued the wing on back to front?

  • Any one knows whos the regular Su47 test pilot?

  • To all my Russians friends and other global aviation fans, I was asking myself if the Su-47 is still active?

  • @longsweep1 "I was asking myself if the Su-47 is still active? " The SU-47 was never active and the project has been shelved for several years now.

  • @thebluemaggot

Thank you for your reply mate! It's a pitty.Anyway lucky there are lots of other special sort like jetfighters in Russia, the States and Europe.Take care!

  • I wish the video was in english or subtitled in english other than that it's a cool video!

  • zivela Russia !!!

  • @discountninjuh Yeah because the pilot is usually full of Vodka and rotten smelly cabbage.

  • @jethromayham

    umm thats a stereotype

  • some people think its "advanced technology" just because of it's reversed wing design. this plane has got to be at least 10 years old.

  • man these Sukoi truely are beautiful to watch, they're like the rally cars in the sky the way they can slide

  • I LIKE TWIST AIRCRAFT TO ARGENTINA IN THE AIR FORCE, PROPOSE TO MAY GOVERNMENT PLEASE !!! SO BEATIFY AIRCRAFT!!!!

  • It put on a great show....We should all invest in a su47 and an f22 and put on shows with glass missles with paint inside hehe

  • its simply the sole aircraft produced is an advanced technology demonstrator for the forward-swept wing

  • RUSSIA FOREVER #1

    USA (GRINGOLAND) IS A SHIT

  • @AzebuLegend

    a...mexican nazi?

anyway if its so shit why do millions of mexicans flee to america???

  • @OlderG0ds america is not a country is a continent

america has 35 countries... brainwashed gringo

  • @AzebuLegend

I've only heard the continents named South America and North America... odd

When's the last time you heard somebody in either of these continents refer to themselves as America or Americans besides the United States of America??

  • @OlderG0ds cuz ur a brainwashed gringo, go to google and search "america" and see the pictures

    35 countries.

America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, Antartica

  • @AzebuLegend

lol you think there are 6 continents

Sure I'm the "brainwashed gringo" but you're still a tarded mexican.

  • @OlderG0ds "USAF" United States Air Force, NOT AMERICAN AIRFORCE...

  • @AzebuLegend last time i checked, North America consisted of Canada, the lower 48 United states(Alaska and Hawaii) and what we call "Central America". BTW any 2nd grader with a world map could tell u that, but im gonna guess u didnt make it outta kindergarten?

  • Planes been scrapped,It was a testbed nothing more.....R.I.P Mr. Su-47 Berkut

  • zivela rusija

  • FireFox! Is that Clint Eastwood flying it?

  • people sound so tough over the internet lol.

Bottom line- Russia had amazing planes, USA has amazing planes.

With that said, can't we all just get along?

  • uf'fdyto adiscorosnicchia aprocaliia y yhi amerivan

  • may i remind you that russia has most off all high tech weapons from the cold war even a 60 megaton nuclear bomb that can blow a cuntry such as united states of america of a map so lets not he hatefull becouse at the end civilians will suffer the most :S

  • why the conflict????

  • russian airforce is about numbers. strategy is for every f-22 raptor there are multiple su-35, su-37 and mig-35 fighters. plus the use long range sam systems such as S-400 to provide a protective umbrella.

  • It's very interesting fighter.

turbojet is very heavy, ~2500 kg.

And have thrust only 15500... It's too little for fighter 5 generation

  • "The US has pushed the F-22 program forward after the Cold War to counter the new Flanker threat, what is supposed to be is the next generation fighter that is supposed to be a new generation in stealth fighters, but the truth is its fat, slower than the 26 year old Russian Flanker(Mig-29) and expensive." I can show more Infos :D but that won't be nice for F-22Craptor Fans

  • RUSSIA FUCK AMERICA UNDERSTAND BITH

  • @Mr462873 ya 4ot ne ponemaju po4emu ty mne eta pishesh! Ja znaju sto Rossija na mnogo silneje 4em Amerika. Amerikanskij Samaljoty dermo litushije a vot nashi...eta pervi klassnij istribiteli.

Nasrat na ameriku, oni neznajut s kem oni ebutsa.

  • is the su 47 any good in stealth because if its not how could you compare it to the f22

  • F-22 and F-35 are useless crap...they can be used against Pirates but not against russian Jets!

    Just look--->>> watch?v=5N0iXFN37iU

  • What Russian jets are you talking about? The Flankers and Fulcrums that sit idle in fields because the Russians are too broke to fly them? Or this SU-47, which will never go into regular production?

  • russian garbage...

  • Sous 47 flying laboratory on it test all workings out for the future planes, note more. One time when Russian and Americans were at war in air, it in Vietnam after America has suffered bad losses they have ceased to fly.

  • joy to watch, King of the air, a fabulous machine.

  • personally i think the f22 would win in a fight. its faster and its stealth. plus it can jam radar. so yeah. but this plane is definatly beast. why wont they put it in service already. its been 9 years

  • I love these little F-22 vs Su-47 arguments. They're comparing a proven combat aircraft to a technology demonstrator in a 1 on 1 dogfight. That's just like comparing the F-22 to early American stealth prototypes in a measure of stealth capability. It really isn't a fair contest.

However, I believe that the potential of the Su-47's design has barely been tapped. Who knows what its successors will be capable of?

  • yes...thank you...su-47 also looks like a brick with a boomarang ducktaped on it

  • SU-47 is just experimental fighter... nothing more.

  • Exactly, but the planes that follow it may be incredible aircraft.

  • f22 is older and not soo god

  • projected by A.K. ehehe when i was youn I was drawing planes like this

  • i do love the su 37 i must add im not just hating on Russians i am Russian by blood

  • this plan is shit you can hear those wing scraping the sky's not sliding threw them the f-22 could easily destroy that thing no competition that aircraft may be extremely agile but dosent have stealth or proper aerodynamics

  • im sorry im not getting what your trying to say? are you saying the su-37 is better? and if so read my comment i said i like the su 37 better anyway

  • But dont get me wrong i love the su-37.... Pak t-50.. sick plane also.

  • In reality the F-22 could shoot down an su-37 or 47 flanker before they knew they were their.. but americans have to visibly identify a target before they shoot. They are more than capable of shooting an aircraft down without them ever seeing it.

  • Very beautiful, high technology

  • @Mrntduong It's very nice, I like!!

  • @Mrntduong actually it's tech from the 80's

  • @thebluemaggot the technology was first developed by the germans in ww2 but they didnt have the fly by wire systems that we have now so it wasnt an effective design... it wasnt till the 80s we had computers powerful enough to keep this unstable platform stable

  • @Mrntduong Yep, as the guy below said, this is 30 year old technology , good job russia.

  • it's people like you that make us hate russia... it takes one bad apple to spoil the whole friggin bunch

  • LOL!

    Su 47 destroy fucking f 22

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah! If If it's reader see it first.Heard of stealth technology? Face it! You lost the cold war! Amecica owns the sky! Su 47 is a very good construction but if You really wanna talk about air combat try PAK FA. Then we might talk...

  • Comment removed

  • Lol, you actually think American aircraft could match this work of art, for instance the F-22, it stands no chance against the Su-47, but the Su-37 is an even better project, if the F-22 was behind the Su-47, the Su-47 could turn around and face the F-22 in 6 to 8 seconds and fire away, this plane can also stop in midair, and it has extreme manuvability, it doesn't need stealth, in my opinion no aircraft could match the Sukhoi, and guess what, I'm not Russian, I'm American and I say this.

  • "F-22, it stands no chance against the Su-47, "

F-22 is ready fighter. SU-47 is just experimental fighter... "Su-37 is an even better project"

SU-37 projest has been dead years already.

"and it has extreme manuvability, it doesn't need stealth"

Manuvability is important only in dogfight... most planes nowdays have been shotdown during the BVR battle. Small RCS is necessary in modern air battle.

  • Wrong you are about the SU-37, and plus yes it is only important in a dogfight BECAUSE isn't that what we're talking about here, F-22 vs Su-47, ohyes I believe it is, I know the Su-47 is an experimental, I'm not stupid, but once its complete it should be a better project than any other fighter known to man. Note i said FIGHTER not ATTACKER.

  • USAF AND YOU ITS SHIT.

  • f47 the best understand

  • sorry su47

  • no the F22 would do circles around one without even hitting afterburner..

  • we rather deal with russia than cuba on the real

  • russia should just takeover cuba im sure the US wouldnt mind

  • hey marco im american and im not putting ur plane down i think its cool i wish i could afford it but in reality the f22 is way more advanced and its been out for 15 years we now have magnetised propolsion systems which make turbines look like props

  • out for 15 years? came in service in 2004..still not that good after the crush that killed the pilot

  • X-29 during the 70's had been tested on all points and the experiment came out unproductive specially on high speed. both wings fail. the only reason russia wants this forward swept wing is its agility features but very unstable, when you look at its frontal cannard its always moving due to unstable feature.

thats why they wasted money ending up a tech demonstrator only. but wait for PAK FA, it wont be a forward swept wing... more likely an F-22 or hollywoods FIREFOX plane it will be.

  • first of all u dont know shit about aircraft design. have you ever heard of the Eurofighter typhoon? go look it up and how sits been designed. please u americans just making ursels look more stupid by trying to put it down. i cant wait to see an entire wing of these babies fly.

  • typhoon flies along with F-22 and F-35 in future wars... count on that. NATO is a very formidable power in europe.

we dont have much to argue about.

  • @ganarzon I hope that it won't come to future wars. That's the way we should be thinking.

Sure the discussion is ample and double-sided, I'll agree. But we're sure making a war industry proud and confident here with all these silly "ooh my daddy is bigger than your daddy" comments.

  • The air craft looks like crap, they need a better colur on their planes xD

  • Planes aren't meant to look pretty.

  • Too bad this is a technology demonstration jet. It will never be put into production. And if you think the Russians are so clever with the forward swept wings you should look up the X-29. The US did the whole forward swept wings thing years ago.

  • Too bad these wings were falling apart at high speeds. Su47 was built to test and show that Russia has superior tech, and it's wings aint falling apart - everything works. Su 47 was just a test model for T50 Pak FA, one of mods u'll see this november.

  • It is rumored that the Su-47 recently suffered some manner of wing failure during testing. Western analysts speculate that Sukhoi engineers have restored the prototype to a swept-wing layout. Apparently, engineers reached the same conclusions with regard to the viability of a forward-swept layout as their counterparts at Grumman did twenty years ago with the X-29. Therefore, it is likely that any derivative production aircraft based on Su-47 research will utilize a conventional wing layout.

  • We'll see.

It is obvious that Sukhoi are leading in this field of tech (backswept wings). I am sure they'll figure something out :)

  • In what way are they "leading in this field of tech"?

  • I'm little confused, can you do the phugachev cobra with su 47 berkut?

  • i kind of doubt that the government would fork over 100 billion dollars for a useless aircraft. seriously...everone thinks they're an expert these days.

  • Su-47 the best.

  • Creo en DIOS CREADOR

  • orale wey!!! ni lo uno ni lo otro, todo lo contrario..soy CREYENTE, no soy religioso.

  • i am fronm el coño de tu madre.Usa ass hole

  • Where is right sound chanel?

  • we all know russias airforce can kill us

  • I from Moscow, and on my sight Boeing 747 am looked much more beautifully:))

  • It has a great design. but i think the Terminator Su-37 is more reliable.

  • The wings are so thin... it has perfect aerodynamics. Besides, it's time someone tried something new.

  • Amazing looking plane - it looks like something out of Ring Raiders :D

  • 1:30 - Fly-by-wire + OVT + Canards Working. Cool...

  • Comment removed

  • they are havin issues with the forward swept wing. its almost pure carbon composites and titanium. issues with stress loading and shit. not lookin like the FSW will be used anytime soon on a combat aircraft, just too complicated

  • Орлёнок учится летать...)))

  • is this in russia

  • i want to be a pilot n drive one of these jets but i dont wanna kill

  • Yep, will be Sukhoi PAK-FA is next gen fight. Delta wing using MIG 1.44 technologies combined with Sukhoi 47

  • Oh my god piss of you America up the ass wankers. The SU 47 is brilliant and you're all jealous. Most of you know nothing of advanced military engineering and you're in no place to talk bullocks. Give the Russians some bloody respect.

  • I think this plane looks better in a black-pink paint scheme, what you guys think?

  • I can explain. SU-47 is a prototype for the much better aircraft, we will not use it in our army but may be we will use SU-47MK. Yes you right, it is hard to use such a wings, but not for the Russians.

  • Yes, they also said they are not sure about reverse wings, because there are lot of stress on the edges during high speed, they said they might come back to delta wings design.

This is old video, afik they are already back to delta, shell check some news there.

  • no wonder, it has canards

  • How come this plane never went into production? Seems wastly superior compared to the Raptor and MiG

  • It's still in experimental stages. It was only introduced 1.5 years ago.

  • No, I think it was longer. I think Sukhoi is also trying to make sure the thing is perfectly built so it won't require too much matenince.

  • it was intrduced in 2000 mean 9 years ago.

  • It's experimental model to test new technologies, it will never be in a production.

  • imagin if that thing had thrust vectoring like the Su-37

  • I'm pretty sure it does have thrust vectoring.

  • thrust vectoring made this plane obsolete.

  • this palne has thrust vectoring

  • The Su-47 is actually a crazy piece of work. Forward swept wings are dynamically unstable, meaning that when you turn the aircraft the wings are flexed in a direction that make it turn even harder. Because of this it doesn't quite need thrust vectoring to do the same maneuvers seen with the F-22 or Su-37. This comes at a cost of a very expensive, complicated, composite material wing that, by requirement, is so strong the aircraft can pull 9-10g's without a hint of fatigue.

  • However, the aircrafts maneuverability is offset by a greatly limited top speed. A high speed dash eventually damaged the wing structure of the prototype because of the airflow trying to twist the wingtips upward and downward.

  • On which sources you base your statements? Im sure you don't know a lot about this and only showing up.

  • Engineering student.

Go back to your level 58 Undead Rogue.

  • "58 Undead Rogue" Whatta hell is this?

I mean, im just bored of people like you trying to show up and say tales about things such as SU-47 and T-90. I suppose, you can explain its features only if you are a constructor or a pilot/driver, not a YouTube visitor.

  • Engineering student, aircraft mechanic. I wrote a paper on the American forward-swept-wing design, the Grumman X-29.

Was telling you to go back to your games (World of Warcraft).

  • People:Russian plane,Russian video,Russian language!

Talk about Usaf planes somewhere else,OK?

No one here cares about whorenet of craptor or falling falcon, got it?

  • only at high enough altitude to recover from pugachev's cobra. f-22 is not vtol or stovl, that's f-35. and f-18 held the record for slowest flying non-vtol jet aircraft in the world with 98mph.

  • did that plane just defeat f-18's low speed record?

  • what low speed record, the f-22 can fly as slow as you want, stop even.

  • woop-de-doo. Have a medal

  • SU-47 rulz, luckily you can play it in Tom Clancys Hawx ^-^

  • 俄罗斯的金雕

  • Это самый красивый истрибитель, что я видел)) надеюсь идеи и концепии этого самолета еще вернуЦа в производство, а пока ждем ПакФА

  • lol the sign of this russian tv chanel loocks like the sign of a german tv chanel(ARD)^^

  • yea thats right maybe it was so

  • Russians still marked their flights (and other military equipment) using big red star.Wonder why...? :-)

  • becouse even tho it isnt the USSR it is still the red airforce

  • Why is there only 1 Su-47? It's a great and unique plane...

  • first they made a prototype and flew it , then for some time they kinda abandonned it in favor if generation 4+ and 4++ technology but they resumed reaserch quite intensly now...

  • Whats the "downside" of forward-swept wings?

  • the rotational forces on the wing tend to wanna twist the wings off unlike aft swept wings

  • f 22 sucks

  • The f-22 is proven your a dumbass

  • proven against who?

  • es un fierrazo...

  • f-22 would destroy this simply because this plane is an athlete whereas the f-22 is like a sniper, the f-22 can lock on, fire and turn around before the enemy even knew he was there...the su-47 would never see it coming, but he could die pulling a cool maneuver!

  • ok Yes the F-22 Can fire over the Horizon and yes the F-22 is pretty much invisible But this is a good player for the F-22 this is what we are going to have to worry about when the missiles fail and your starring at his After burner. When the skill from the Pilot actually matter is when this will be a threat.

  • while i understand what you're thinking here, the likely hood that and f-22's missles don't work is absolutely crazy, and even if one did...he has a wing man. i understand the potential threat here, but i honestly don't think that if an f-15 has ever been shot down that an f-22 is any more likely because of a very quick little show-off plane!

  • you can beam missiles to shake of their locks really easily....by flying perpendicular to the radar beam. this is why in soooooo MANY dog fights (with two modern jets, post 1960's) long range missiles get exhausted and the fight comes down to side-winders and guns

  • except the f-22 uses QAAMs and SAAMs which r close to near impossible to shake, unless one pulls G's that would knock one unconscious. if u want to see these missiles in use, buy the Ace Combat game and use them, they are extremely unfair weapons to use, but when it's down to life or death...oh well!

  • that's a BAD simulator...the only sim i trust is Lock On modern air combat...because it doesn't use any planes that don't have performance data and envolope data released for...so there's no f 22 in any real simulator.

every missile can pull more g's than a human...you don't "shake" missiles...you shake the lock by beaming (turning your vector so it's perpendicular to the radar beam)

  • i know, and that's true on avoiding missiles, just not these...these 2 missiles are not only locked on by the initial lock, but also the lock from AWACS and satellite, so the missiles literally turn around and will continue to follow its target until it hits or runs out of fuel...just as an fyi, i live with an air force pilot and have spoken with F-22 pilots...not trying to brag, just that i know this stuff because i've spoken to the people who absolutely know this by heart

  • i was actually wondering about that randomdude10010, about external locks other than the jet that fired the missile. i know that F22's can shared locks as well...but keep in mind that the mig-25 could do that back in the 80's.....so i'm sure those russians have some aiwacs and sats they can use too. another thing, the missile can't just "turn around", cause it might run out of fuel, it also slows it down....like missiles have always been, the biggest factor is the position the plane fired from

  • the position of the firing plane used to be the factor back when missiles flew straight or slightly sideways, but now we have missile programming that allows the missile to strike from above, since the plane has more surface area than straight on with it, and yes of course the russians have some sort of advanced radar, but the F-22 has gone through nearly 200 different radar systems simply because the first couple of hundred weren't overly advanced enough

  • Dude, ace combat is sweet

  • i know rite! i let three col's and one gen see it and they were all impressed with it's attention to detail...i think only two of them weren't pilots!

  • The public make the f-22 sound like such a powerful aircraft. As a matter of fact, it hasn't had confirmed military kills. To me, it's just a plane that is fast and stealthy nothing more nothing less. The plane in the same league in maneuverability with the Raptor is the Su-37.

  • it has no air-to-air kills since we are not in battle with anyone with an air force, but it does have ground kills under its belt, not much talk about it other than on the military channel when they talked about it

  • Man...man...man...you dont know nothing abut planes but you think you are so smart...SU37,47,30MK,35...dont fly like stupid..they fly with MIG31...why?? Because he has the best aircraft radar Zaslon...he give them fucken informations about sky in front of them...an just...YES ZASLON can track F22... xD

  • i know you're trying to make a point...i just don't see it...or rather i don't care since i do know exactly what i'm talking about

  • As you say mu friend :)
