Objects from 0:28:00 can be explained. The first one is a normal hot air baloon. That weird dark shape is a black plastic trash bag, and the shiny curly thing is a kid's party baloon (this one made of tinfoil, reflects sunlight like hell).

I don't mean to sound like a nut but I've had dreams in which the sky is full of those small moving objects very much like the march footage. The dreams are accompanied by a very strange sense of dread that continues after waking. The footage here brings back this strange dread feeling... creepy.
Being so close to a military base the area must be well covered by radar. It would be of interest to see if there was any correlation.

At dusk, they started moving. my direction. 1st shaped like stealth bomber. 2nd, like big cotton ball w/ 3 smaller following behind. I got neighbor, local policeman, to take pics. what were they? About 500' wide, flew quiet just above tree top. I'm on 2nd floor, tree approx 20' taller than my apt. Looked like very fine steel wool. Nobody else noticed! People all around us!

Neighbor might be a great cop, but not good photographer. He was sure shocked at 1st, said "it's a weather phenomenon!" I'm a sailor - I know clouds, they don't fly at treetop level, opposite direction of o/ clouds, or stay same place, same shape 4 hours. what's your expertise?

I've sent via email to a few people but the photographer didn't get the greatest shots & he only got the underside & back of the first one (stealth shape). They were moving pretty fast. It was aimed right at my apartment, so I was a bit mesmerized at first - thinking: is that thing going to crash into my apt!? then I ran & got him, he looked, went back for camera, then came back.

ill be honest great video but im a sky watcher aswell and 1 day at lunch on work i was looking at the sky to a plain passing by when i saw 2 birds flying in formation but when the sun was on them i saw them change into 2 silver metalic shining orbs it made me doubt was thinking they are ufos but i kept watching till they changed direction that made me see their wings sometimes things arent what they seem to be but some vids on here are wow

Objects from 0:28:00 can be explained. The first one is a normal hot air baloon. That weird dark shape is a black plastic trash bag, and the shiny curly thing is a kid's party baloon (this one made of tinfoil, reflects sunlight like hell).

I don't mean to sound like a nut but I've had dreams in which the sky is full of those small moving objects very much like the march footage. The dreams are accompanied by a very strange sense of dread that continues after waking. The footage here brings back this strange dread feeling... creepy.
Being so close to a military base the area must be well covered by radar. It would be of interest to see if there was any correlation.

This guy is filming ballons released from Portsdown Hill which is a long chalk hill close to where the camera man lives. Any sensible person who is familiar with the area will easily draw this conclusion. Either the camera man is collaborating in the hoax or he's gullible.

Did the Royal Navy itself respond with the balloon "explanation" of these films and sightings? Personally, I was very skeptical about my own UFO sighting last week, in the twilight sky over the San Francisco bay (USA). I thought, "aircraft", "dirigible", "lenticular cloud" etc., and my real skepticism would not allow me to debunk it. Unidentified it remains.

My name is Russel Callaghan, I made this film in 2003, I also filmed a strange daylight event with Anthony, it's on the video.
Most UFO encounters happen to the unsuspecting, Anthony was one such person.
As for HD well the footage was filmed over a five year period prior to the film being made. Whatever Anthony filmed was in front of the camera and not manufactured (hoaxed) whatever it is it has yet to be explained.

I used to live in the same area as this guy- the whole area is full of high security defence research establishments- both civilian & military- and Im talking seriously high security, not just the odd barbed wire fence- strange antennae and radar arrays everywhere, many UFO sightings- plus Portsmouth is the main base for the British Navy- there has got to be a connection. Either these objects are 'ours' or the activity of these establishments are attracting the attention of 'someone' else.

if one would expect to see a UFO almost every day, wouldn't one invest in a tripod? why not have a decent video so people would actually see the movement of the UFO instead of a small light shaking around the screen?

you would think that after seeing so many UFO's flying around he would invest in, at the very least, something with video stabilization or even something simple like a Camera stand so the videos would not be so shaky...

I hate when they say "the experts are baffled." Any Expert UFOlogist wouldn't be baffled a skeptic on the other hand should not be termed an expert, they don't deserve the word.
UFOs ARE REAL only when they are IFO. Identified Flying Objects and let's get this over and done with once and for all, I KNOW what some of these things are and what they are meaning to do. "Realms of the unreal, the journey home" p.u.b.l.i.s.h.e.d. soon.

And Gary Woods of course. What is it with thar tham woods? Mike Booger told me bout this site, as I've spent two years writing about my own experiences in "The realms of the unreal, the journey home" I thought I'd check this out, but aye some of this stuff is in my book along with the research and a categorisation of some UFOs. I've retained all of the originals. If anyone wants to know what I think of reality, then they'll just have to get a copy of the book when its out.

the thing i question is the validity of the "experts", none of which showed any credentials and nothing to "back up" their claims, i want to believe these people, i want to believe that we are not alone. How can i take these people seriously?. The footage is very speculative and so is the cast.

One last question cos space would'nt allow me in the last post....why if theres so many in the skys above portsmouth has no one else seen or filmed them,not including all the holiday makers visiting portsmouth lots of people have video cameras now chances are they would have seen the same things in the skys.

@geary1234 Where I live, last year 2 weird clouds stayed in same place all day, no shape change or position shift for hours. At dusk, they started moving. my direction. 1st shaped like stealth bomber. 2nd, like big cotton ball w/ 3 smaller following behind. I got neighbor, local policeman, to take pics. what were they? About 500' wide, flew quiet just above tree top. I'm on 2nd floor, tree approx 20' taller than my apt. Looked like very fine steel wool. Nobody else noticed! People all around us!

@geary1234 I have the pics saved on my hard drive. can send email, don't have s/w to make vid. my mom looked at the pics & said look like clouds, pics don't capture the perspective - they look tall rather than low & flat. Neighbor might be a great cop, but not good photographer. He was sure shocked at 1st, said "it's a weather phenomenon!" I'm a sailor - I know clouds, they don't fly at treetop level, opposite direction of o/ clouds, or stay same place, same shape 4 hours. what's your expertise?

@Marleyites I'm an expert in absolutely nothing lol i just got interested in the subject when i saw something odd in the sky as a child & have been watching the skies ever since also if you want to put the pics on here try windows movie maker,it allows you to pictures together as a slideshow.

@geary1234 Like I said below, the pics aren't good enough that I'd spend time learning a new program to put them up. I've sent via email to a few people but the photographer didn't get the greatest shots & he only got the underside & back of the first one (stealth shape). They were moving pretty fast. It was aimed right at my apartment, so I was a bit mesmerized at first - thinking: is that thing going to crash into my apt!? then I ran & got him, he looked, went back for camera, then came back.
