To answer your last question, it isnt 100%, thank god (small "g" since I dont know which god, if any you believe in.) But I guess its a very high percent. Among my friends, Jews became Jews, Catholics became Catholics, Methodists became Methodists, etc. if both parents were of the same religion. Things seem to be different when parents have different religious beliefs. Of my friends, their beliefs in God differ from both parents. Hmmm, how do we know a parents made the right religious choice?
