@LibertyCaps2012 They aren't upside down, they're just flip-flopped from the normal design (stars in the left side). The standard position for US Flag on Army uniform has the stars on the right side, because the patch goes on the right shoulder the stars face the front of the uniform. This is to signify that the flag is streaming to the rear, because in combat you would be running forward towards the enemy and not away from them.

@joeracer302 at least this is how it was explained when I was in the Army. Personally I think they started making them, realized they had screwed up, and then made up the story about symbolism that sounds good.

@dragonboy424 um it's daytime, there is a pinhole in the lens cap that allows enough light in to see normally. Taking off the cap during daytime would burn out the objective lens.

@nickshorty You are watching the wrong video for the scope in BF3. The IRNV in BF3 is the T14 from SPI. It only has white hot and black hot. get the right scope before making a comment.

@MrPsycd that's what they modeled the IRNV graphcs after but as far as functionality this is what is in-game. Much like the "laser sight" that you can put on weapons doesn't really function the way it does in the game, it looks like another piece of equipment that's a whole different animal.

@MrPsycd It's doesn't really matter what model scope they made is look like, the fact of the matter there are no current variation the AN/ PSQ in a weaponized form. Just reconnaissance I.E. this video. They are simply using it as representation, and who's to say this tech wont be in a mountable, compact variation in the next few years? That's when the game is based anyways, 2014

Its a handheld device, and as far as im concerned it doesn't have any of the capabilities that this unit offers ie the range Im sure is very limited, no nv, I just dont see how they could really use it against us. This particular unit thats being discussed in the video above retails for 20k and is restricted to military and leo purchase only. Just my 2 cents

@buildityourselfmate Your right it wouldn't be that hard for them to obtain the devices here but they still have to find a way to export them which is against ITAR and highly illegal, im sure they could find a way but how many devices are they gonna be able to ship out I mean really? I suppose a few of them might be able to get this technology but be real, the overwhelming majority of hadji does not!!
