What I do: I have extremely curly hair, however on my bangs, other than shampoo and conditioner, I put nothing on it. Then as I'm blow-drying the mane, I run it over the bangs a couple times, just so it's damp. Then I straighten them the first time. I keep doing that kind of deal, dry them a little, then straighten. It usually only 15 minutes to dry and straighten my hair, including bangs. :)

As somebody who has (very) curly hair and full-on bangs, this video... both makes me cringe and sympathize. YES YES to your hair never going where you want it to go. It's literally quite impossible. But oil? D: I don't know what kind of hair you have, but putting oil on my hair would make it ... oily. Which I go out of my way to avoid.

@thwhiteroses a lot of people with curly hair also have really thick and coarse hair, and oil just makes it more manageable
