  • Henry Thomas was only 10 years older on his commercials & hes born on September 9th of 1971 & now this year of 2011<3 just turn 40 on Friday September 9th of 2011<3 born 1971 40 years ago & wow hes born on Thursday September 9th of 1971!!!<333 Awesome!!!<3333 :)

  • Yeh and the ET game was such a great success...

  • he is seriously left handed

  • We all REALLY knew what E.T. and Elliot did with that glowing finger.

  • Whats the name Climpton?

  • am going to write to mr intellivision asking him to lower the price of the ps3

  • @camomc1 lol

  • So I guess this is part 3 of the "No Name" trilogy?

  • Why in the fuck is Mr. Intellivision using a big ass typewriter to write a letter to a little boy? He should be using a computer or at least an AtariWriter... What the Fuck? I would expect somebody who is supposed to be computer-savy should be using a computer, not a god damn type writer.

  • thats what we had but my uncle had the wood paneled one.

  • Who thought up having an old guy at a typewriter sell video games? An old guy at a typewriter?

  • having an old guy make it sound more matrue

  • When I was a kid I saw this commercial and told my dad he had to buy Intellivision for us now. He still said no!

  • That's sad :(

  • Gotta love Plimpton spending someone else's money. "Your friend's father has no excuse now!"

  • @fjccommish The followup commercial had Plimpton come to the kids house. When the dad said he still wouldn't buy the Intellivision Plimpton beat him to a pulp, screaming "what's more expensive, a damn Intellivision or your medical bills?"

  • @fjccommish that sucks.:(

  • What was his excuse? It'll make you lazy, rot your brain, give you seizures... What?

  • @WebVMan He said our Atari 2600 was good enough.

  • wow thats what happens when i don't read the description

  • the reason he did not say dear henry Thomas oh just dear henry was because atari had spent lots of money getting the E.T rights and threatened to sue mattel if the let the name drop

  • I don't think a law suit over the use of an actor's real name would hold water. If they called him Elliot, that was one thing, but Henry Thomas...Mattel should have said "bring it on."

  • It tottaly looks like hes wearing eyeliner xD EMO ELLIOT! xD

  • is that man off good will hunting?

  • Yup that is the guy off Good Will Hunting - the shrink whom Will exposes as a closet-case Gay

  • hahaha yeah I thought so

  • wow, typewriter.

  • he is hot
