  • has anyone noticed oprah's 1/2 sister @ 2:19 ?

  • She is amazing.

  • Oh my God the emotions Oprah felt came out the computer screen into my heart and I started crying

  • Am on the wrong part of Youtube, not a talk show fan; talk show is just talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • While I'm not black, I found myself tearing up when she talked about the possibilities for a black person in her childhood. I am so happy for Oprah! She is my idol! I wish one day we stop seeing people in colors and just see souls.

  • Ela mereceu! Love you Oprah! Oscar winner...

  • Oprah was destined for greatness.

  • see the site of this amazing boy who also:

    brunosupershow.blogspot.com

  • Unimaginable! Wipe, wipe...

  • Oprah Winfrey is amazing. It doesn't come as a surprise how disrespectful people can be to her, failures will ALWAYS try to bring you down, but are the least and most irrelevant people to think about when climbing the latter of success.

  • @Dreamydre15 Why who was disrespectful?

  • God, I love that woman.

  • I love it when people make negative comments so that they can hide behind their anonymity. She is amazing she gets what life is. The energy you spend attempting to hurt someone else could be so much better spent attempting to change that which needs changing in your own. Good for you Oprah!

  • Simply... DIVA.

  • michael jackson should have gotten this jean hersholt humanitarian award too, however, he was hated and misunderstood for just being a pure soul & heart doing things with no pretense at all. the real humanitarians go unnoticed and unappreciated in this cruel and hypocritical world. rip mj and i will always love and appreciate all that you have done for humanity.

  • I am inspired by Oprah everyday. When I look at her, I remember never to give up on my dreams and to always give to others with the greatest love. You're wonderful Oprah!

  • Congratulations to Oprah

Side note: Look at Oprah's tits. They are MASSIVE.

  • Hey!!!

DId you check out OPRAH QUOTES AND TRIVIA APP on the Apple Store???

You can share all photos, quotes and trivia on Facebook or twitter!

If you like it, please share it!!! :)

  • this short speech totally inspiring. 'Unimaginable'

  • shes gotten quite fat

  • @shoaibbtt yea, but she looks healthy and voluptuous doesn't she :-) not like those emaciated images that are put up as beauty, impossible to achieve without severe restrictions on your body and causing a lot of women to hurt themselves, yea?

  • What other people besides Oprah has received this Humanitarian Oscar? Does anyone know, or is Oprah the only one?

  • @thewizboy No! She's the 84th recipient along with notables such as Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn, Charlton Heston, Jerry Lewis, Elizabeth Taylor, Quincy Jones...

  • Watch YouTube video = ...Church of Oprah #3

  • me me me me me me me me me

  • To all the haterz who say that Oprah Winfrey has never contributed to the movie industry. In Beloved, She gave everyone the chance to see her urinate on screen.

  • awww i miss oprah and i wish she was still on tv everyday (

  • @MundyArtStudio she is still!!!! in her new channel OWN she has a show VERY day at 8pm monday - friday. And she's gonna start her own morning show starting Sunday 1st of January

  • @MundyArtStudio she is still!!!! in her new channel OWN she has a show VERY day at 8pm monday - friday. And she's gonna start her own morning show starting Sunday 1st of January

  • Oprah is such an inspiration. She is an ICON... Icon isn't even strong enough a word for her. She's so much more than that. She's just a league all her own.

  • "It is achievable"! No one is more deserving than this American icon

  • Congratulations!!! Is she always speaking that slow? Where is Ellen?!?!? ;-)

  • "It is unimaginable"!!

  • No... not for the artful postures of love, but the love that overthrows life. Unbiddable, ungovernable, like a riot in the heart, and nothing to be done, come ruin or rapture. Love as there has never been in a play.

  • I loved when Dame Elizabeth Taylor got this honor. It was presented to her by the great Angela Lansbury with a brilliant speech.

  • they just wanted to have a black character on the stage.

  • Why not. Oprah has everything else in the world! I mean ya got to hand it to her for all the stuff she hands out to the idiots that go watch the show. I know you would have to pay me to sit through it.

But had the committee that picked Oprah, had picked some broken down house wife, taken care fo her family and still volunteering down at the animal shelter: 1) It may have changed a life, or even a hole family, for the better. 2) Oprah? Isn't she a Global Elitist and a Bilderberg member?

  • People may argue that she does'nt deserve the award, but at the end of the day she received it, and at the end she did humanitarian work, built a school and set up scholarships to send people to school so more than arguing let us just observe what this women has done. AND REMEMBER YOU CAN MAKE Difference!!

  • Look everyone it is Big Fat Oprah....The one we all love!!! But Oprah only made what? Three films...yeah....ok...thanks

  • @UFOSPACE1999 Ugly perspective. Go deeper.

  • In terms of unwarranted awards, this one is up there with Barack Obama winning a Nobel peace prize...

  • I mean a love Oprah BUT how come she did not thanked Steven Spielberg? Quincy Jones may have found her but I bet Steven had to agreed to that...

  • look i'll be perfectly honest, yes she has done HEAPS more than some in terms of helping people, and that is not to be forgotten because hundreds, if not thousands of people are now better off because of her, but I don't think she deserves an oscar for it, definitely some other kind of humanitarian award but not really an oscar, she hasn't been in enough films to warrant it, paul newman on the other hand did deserve his because he was in enough films and also helped hundreds of people

  • Oprah I love you. You deserve this and so much more

  • Oprah was nominated for an Oscar for The Color Purple. I really don't understand how people think that she isn't a credible candidate for the Hersholt Award. She also produces films. You people are acting as if she's won The Nobel Peace Prize. Calm down.

  • Oprah is fake.

  • I'd do Oprah.

  • amazing woman

  • She deserves an Oscar better than others

  • A complete joke.

  • Wow, tears!! Namaste Oprah!

  • I love Oprah and I'm soooooo happy for her!!!!!

  • It's a HUMANITARIAN AWARD, people! Jeez.

  • you can win an academy award for not acting? what?

  • @odiekable uh, no shit. theres other categories minus best actor/best actress. best director? best screenplay

    ? best score? -facepalm-

  • @odiekable This is a humanitarian award. Anyone who's famous and does charity and such can get it. And I think Oprah deserves this one very much. For acting, James Earl Jones got the Honorary Award, which was IMO also well-deserved. :)

  • @odiekable The Jean Hersholt Award is for members of the Academy who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to humanitarian causes. It has nothing to do with their acting abilities, but with what they have done for others during their lifetime. It is not awarded annually as only rare individuals qualify for this honour. It is named after Jean Hersholt because he set up institutions to help Academy members who could not afford health care.

  • @odiekable of course, there's directing, producing, make up, sound, special effects.....

  • @odiekable Sure you can. Of the 24 Academy Awards only 4 are awarded for acting. The Jean Hersholt award is awarded to recognize someone's contributions to humanitarian causes.

  • @odiekable Actually,Oprah was an Oscar-nominated actress before she became a talk-show megastar.

  • @odiekable Most of the Oscars are awarded to people to have not done any acting. The acting awards are just the most highly publicised.

  • @morviee Prince won an Oscar for the Soundtrack to Purple Rain not acting.

  • I thought this was part of the regular telecast?

  • @Paglia444 Since 2009 the special awards are presented at the annual Governor's Awards ceremony.

  • Spare me the tears, Oprah. Your ego? Wow. I can name dozens of people who are more worthy, who don't receive recognition or don't seek the spotlight like you do. They fight every day for causes they believe in, working their butts off. Like the men and women who defend your freedom, the whistle blowers, the visionaries, the human advocates; everyday people who are making a difference. Heck, even Marlee Matlin is more deserving of receiving a so-called humanitarian award.

  • @JLishere STFU!!

  • @JLishere your making no sense! grow up!

  • @JLishere haaahaa yea some of us are oprahed out for sure...

  • @JLishere name some please.

  • @JLishere Little jealous, are we? You snide, sarcastic piece of waste - obviously your absent mother didn't teach you that, if you have nothing good to say about someone, then keep your big mouth shut. Spare me your foul words and put your head in the toilet and flush! Have a lovely day.

  • AMAZING! She deserves all of her success! She is pure inspiration <3 ....If you ever watch her Master Class, you will understand that she embodies what it means to say that dreams come true!

    **Here's to dreams becoming reality**

  • @Destined2Act Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee were in Church Of Winfrey.
