rushing, rushing,

backed by ten million tons

of pent-up energy,

a massive tidal wave

of untold proportions,

not a small harbor wave

but this time the mother of all tsunamis, pushing across rice fields, air fields, decimating bridges, concrete walls, an entire coastline of breakwaters, but nothing could stem this "ocean scream" from the depths of the Earth to the edges of postmodern Japan, four billion years of energy, released in seconds..... Tsunamigeddon!.....

What a beautiful and inspiring video! What's not so beautiful are some of the cynical comments on here. What difference does it make that Anne is white? She went through the tsunami and earthquake, just like the natives. She was moved and inspired to share the experience with the rest of us. What she speaks of is not a "cult"--it's just the action of some people trying to experience the world with love and compassion rather than hate and cynicism. I don't think she means blessed to be present for a disaster, but blessed to see what a response to a disaster can be. The Japanese people and their culture have served as an example to the world of how a people can respond to misfortune and suffering: sharing, kindness, patience. Far too often what one sees, especially in this country, the US, is: greed, not caring, not sharing, by both our government (witness Hurricane Katrina) and by other people. Contrast to Katrina is stark.

******Om and salutations to the celestial healer.****

This mantra is wonderful! If you are not feeling well, if you are ill, you should sing it over and over again. It works wonders! If you are a healer, this is a nice mantra to repeat. I would also recommend "Teyata". Deva Premal and Miten have a wonderful version of that mantra.
