Chen Yu's fajin is explosive. It's hard to appreciate this type of fajin unless you taste it and feel it's power - it's absolutely devastating. He's being kind here...some of the masters of old were not so nice with their students. Thanks for the vid.

Nothing more tedious on any martial arts clip than someone bring up the bleeding UFC.

I enjoy and practise/spar with MMA guys, but the competitive or sporting element is just a small component of martial arts.

Great skills and contact reflexes. I wish all martial artist would develop a high degree of energy sensitivity to an opponent and not resort to kick boxing. This way they would be able to apply the techniques in their forms against a resisting opponent and not brawl.

@MangoBastard mma/ufc is one man fighting another with gloves on where you cannot attack eyes, groin, and isolate and break small joints ie fingers

mma in a controlled situation, mma is not for multiple attacks or to be used with weapons or against weapons, so you are correct you will never see this in the ufc

The UFC is not the gold standard for what makes a great fighter. Perhaps the best fighter in the world will have nothing to do with the UFC. How many taiji masters are interested in competition in a cage? Not many. Chen Yu shows fantastic power here. I bet you he would do fine against a lot of MMA fighters. But go ask him if he wants to compete on television. I bet he'll laugh and say he's not interested.

I said - Interesting, but. This is not tuishou as it is usually understood and practiced. This is more like qinna and selfdefence applications. Most of them can seriously hurt partner in tuishou match is the technique is done correctly.

Да это и не туйшоу в обычном понимании. Просто Мастер Чэнь заправил баки двумя баттлами алкогольного пива и давай фокусы показывать, как это он любит. И умеет, надо сказать. Чэнь Ю уникум, конечно, он что трезвый, что не очень, делает все равно мощно и круто. и мужик хороший.
