  • sometimes ill tap in practice to let them know if im pinned or there running something and its causeing accute pain

  • i can not tapout i have to pin

  • i thought a tap was an automatic pin? is it not..?

  • God how the sport of wrestling has mutated for the worst. back in the day of true catch as catch can wrestling, you could lose a match via pinfall, or submission. Nowadays, submissions arent allowed and any position that looks semi dangerous is stopped right away. that being said, with all of these rules in place now, if you tap out, I feel like you should lose automatically.

I actually witnessed a kid tap out at a meet. the other guy basically was pinning him with an arm triangle.

  • the dude was probably cranking his neck, illegally, and the coach was too stupid to see it. he had the pin anyway.

  • Nice Camera work produced great detail

  • piro has a nice cement job but nobody gives a cement job like kevin keim from bethlehem catholic

  • @dhowardfacial damn right !!!

  • ive seen it before, normally they award 4 back points instead of 3 if they have to stop it

  • Im sorry I have been a victim to that rule during 1 of my HS matches against Sayville and so have 2 other of my teamates at my same meet. Screaming rules and tapping rules are abosulte BS. I had my kid cradled up and pulled him back he was totally pinned. The kid starts to scream and the ref stops gives me 4. The kid stands up 100% fine. Im sorry the sport of wrestling while I still love it is no-longer a tough man sport when its not a big competition. You don't see this kinda crap at states!!!!

  • is being able to tap out new for wrestling? i wrestled for a lot of years and never seen a tap out

  • It must be, I never used to see it either. But it seems nowadays that sometimes a wrestler gets in big trouble and then signals a 'tapout" the ref stops the match for "injury time". I understand the refs predicament, they have to for fear of real injury, but the abuse is rediculous anymore. I wish the refs could be allowed to use their best judgement and if they find it was a ploy on the part of the wrestler to get out of the "pin" then it should be an automatic fall. Just my opinion.

  • @EASTONWRESTLE It happens to me all the time when i cradle kids they'll tapout because theyre about to be pinned.

  • Joe Piro Was Great For Easton Last Season. To Bad He Transfered To Northampton High. He Is Doing Great with Northampton I watched Northampton VS. Parkland Match Replay tonight and He Did Great! Lets Go EASTON!

  • Northampton really got messed up at the PIAA in 2008. Look for Joe to go from 7th to a state title in 2009.

  • Okay, so the magic of this clip is that Piro (white) was supposed to be going for a pin. He got a tap in an amatuer wrestling match: cool.

  • Great! Was it a choke hold or neck crack?

  • I personally think that piro vs frick should be on here....

  • HAHAHAHA thats funny...but what a hater you are

  • Wow, who really cares, whos the heck is piro
