What happened to those 13 people who like this? Have you never seen horses ridden unconstrained, suppled and appropriate to the priciples of riding? There is no rhythm, no looseness. The connection to Salineros mouth is enforced by a hard hand and a nonsensitive use of the curb. I feel very sorry for this great horse to be ridden in this way, having no perspective to grow old in dignity and health. If judges don't show the courage to stand up for horses beliefs, maybe the audience has to do it!

I really dont like her, None of her horses are relaxed properly in the movements through the spine. Probably beacuse of the damage from rollkur!! I think she should be banned!!!

poor balance, she needs to lay off the bottom rein all together, that rein is barely supposed to be touched and she needs to not arch her back and RELAX! the horse doesnt even halt. she needs to have a more classical style of riding (the one where they USE the full bridle on the horse but keep the bottom rein loose and i mean loose, like dangling there, and use their top rein the whole time! i would like to c that)
I acknowledge that it takes skill to get to this level but there are SO many better riders then Anky. Watch Carl Hester or Laura Bechtolsheimer or whoever else and see what a piaffe and passage should look like. Salinero isn't comeing from behind and through the topline. If you compare her to other professionals, you might see something.

Successful by no means means correct. Watch Klimke in 84 and you'll see a correct horse. Watch Alexandra Korelova & Balagur do a piaffe and you'll see correct. That's what should be winning.
This could go on for hours as I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but I would rather see a horse go around in a way that is not harmful to its well-being. Today's dressage is flashy but really hard on the horses. They should be the #1 consideration, not the ratings, or level of boredom of the spectators. My opinion.

She is a good rider but i think its time for Salinero to retire! He is a beautiful horse but he looks tired and all he wants it to eat grass and sleep all day.

The horse is so stiff over the back, she is flying out of the saddle in her extended trot on the HXF diagonal. Note also the app. 50 kg in each rein when she does the transition back to collected trot.

Anky has been seen to ride with electric whips at her stable and use roolkur longer than 30 minutes. You think!!!!!!!
