PL omaha hi/lo is great game, i've gained alot of profit to my bankroll playing it, even if you win a split pot, you're still getting chips.

Omaha and hold em are great for several reasons. In hold em you can bluff...in omaha bluffing only makes you broke. In omaha there is more draw and action where as hold em is more strategy and patience. I started playing holdem and now I regularly play plo and holdem. Anyway you play it its still poker.

you can bluff in omaha, just depends on the situation. if there's a lot of nut peddling then bluffing can be pretty effective. I just wish I had the roll to play higher :/

@ImAllinDark Yeah... not really true. In h/l, if you throw out a bluff utg, with a smallish pot, you only need for it to be effective 1 out of every 7 times, esp if you play correct hands, and have any sort of outs whatsoever. Bluffing in Omaha makes you money in the long run.

PLO is muuuuch more complicated than hold em! Without question. There is much more math involved, and its easy to get broke quick if you don't know what your doing. Hold Em become a game you can play on Auto-Pilot in certain games, at some point in time. To be quite honest, Hold Em is pretty much dead and full of standard paly. But even so, I use it to fund my PLO habit! lol x-)*

There is standard play at Holdem but the top 2% of players who know how to make plays and maximize winnings make a lot of money. PLO relies on people being idiots with mediocre hands, you can't really do that in holdem, you have a good hand or you don't.

@MikeyRGuitar Out of that top 2% alot are sponsored or staked, so its actually less than 2% making a decent living off the game alone, and remember staked players arnt taking home everything they won.

I know alot of 1/2NL players making more p/hr than staked 10NLers, and if u look at a few certain 'pros' stats, and look for the t.profit, not the 'winnings', u'd see without sponsorship they'd be starving lol. Thats why they come along and get taken online by freakily good scandy dudes hehe.

omaha is a great game, especially played live rather than online. i prefer omaha, and i believe one cant really declare this or that is better than the other. they are different games and we are different either, love and play whicever you like.
