Any one looking for a really great gay love story that does not involve any gratuitous one of them is involved with a woman ploy's should check out Geoff & Pavel from the Irish T.V show Raw. Great show great gay story line where all the drama comes from the dynamics between Geoff and Pavel.
I am gay, but there is one thing I don't get......Why is it always the same scenario for the girl involved, who happens to fall in love with the gay guy....She's always the one who understands and her feelings get undermined......Damn...If I told a guy that I loved him and he said he was straight, I would have gone out of my roof!!!!
@prepschoolblues I believe he is wondering wheter it is an actual broadcasting tv series, or episodes produced for internet. Not that there is anything wrong with the latter! Sometimes broadcasters don`t allow writers and directors - even producers - to make exactly the kind of show they want to, so making smaller budget prods for the internet can be a great way of getting your own work out - in an uncensored version, so to speak. I suspect - because of the limited camera angles - this is not tv
Using real teenage boys under 18 in a movie with sexual overtones is a disaster just waiting to happen for the producers. Sure it would have the look of reality, but the morons on the far right would be screaming "boy love" and it would get shitcanned very quickly. That's why actors over 18 or 19 are used in those roles in North America and some other venues
There are different laws for working with minors than adults. This especially effects low budget independent works like PSB which require rigorous hours and time commitment.
@aussiegye Cause very few teenagers have SAG cards (membership in the Screen Actors Guild), which is a requirement for being cast in major Hollywood films and tv-shows. But it is not only in the US. Most of the Home and Away, Neighbours, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks etc cast play younger than their actual age as well - maybe not with so many years, as in some US show (Gabrielle Cartieris was 32 when playing a 17 year old in Beverly Hills 90210). But Brian Green only 14 or 15 in the same show
@Ms1314Lily "procrastination tool" i love it!! i have an assignment due first thing tomorrow, and thats exactly what this is... torquere press is a good time filer too
well, he's the same build of Larson and they have pretty much the same voice and face. The only difference is that my room-mate has red hair not black. Could be a twin! lol
This is great. I've seen the original the whole series is based on. Nice casting changes, nice additions, nice new ways of saying things. In general...great show!!!
ok.. i like this and all... but the 2 of them just met a couple of weeks ago... they're just friends nd larsen (a straight guy) tells jack that he loves him.. please... be more realistic! but good video though :)
I find this story to be very adorable :)
I have a question though? Where's the 2nd season? Or is there one?

I think, I think that you couldn't even cast an adult who 'looks' like a teenager in a role that a minor is not to be in, I think.
hpribot 2 years ago
Why do American film/tv producers always seem to cast guys who look as though they're in their 20s in movies/shows about teenage school kids?
In European, British, Australian etc.movies teenagers look like teenagers.

Thanks for the explanation.

I'm just thinking out loud but perhaps they don't have the people that you have so they use what they have.
