I actually tried to put the kohl liner the same way the video is showing but my lashes always get's in the way because they are long.

A lot of talk, you also repeated the same thing multiple times (such as describing how your mother applies hers) which was a bit much. A bit tighter on the editing would help immensely on your delivery. I liked the demos, however you did not really cover the top lid/waterline with your techniques. Demoing on a clean eye would also help viewers see the effectiveness of your techniques, demoing on an already lined eye is a little counter-productive.

I love it. And if your eyes look slightly yellowed I would suggest using the navy. It's dark enough to look black. But the blue color whitens your eyes.

i have the original kind and i do it like u said ur mom does it, i have it from the middle east. what i do so it is easy to take off if it for any reason, falls on my cheek is that i put on this skin care cream called fruit of the earth vitamin e. it's rly great and it makes my face soft and smooth. i put the skin care crm and then the kohl. if any falls off which it rarely does, i just kind of wipe and it comes right off. the thing is that u hav 2 put on the kohl rite after u put on the cream.

I want to try this because the Walgreens are doing Buy 1 Get 1 Free. I do the "close the eye" method you describe your mom as using with minerals or with eyeshadow. I used an imported kohl for awhile but stopped when I learned the brand I used had high lead levels.

I read complaints that the Navy color was too light but it looks almost black in the video.

i dont think this is the ideal eye liner to use for the top lid since it is so powdery. its just good for the water line bc the moistness on the waterline intensifies the powder and allows it to stick.

nope. the water or moistness on your waterline makes the powder kind of less like powder, but more like a paste if that makes any sense

stila kajal eye pencil is the BEST thing

I just LOVE it but it's expensive (18 dollar)

it worths more than 18 dollar though

it's sooo soft and gentle and you don't need to pull your eye area like this in the video(this is how you get your wrinkles by pulling them everyday) but with stila kajal you simply put the pencil just ONCE and it makes your eyes very beautiful

You should try doing it the Middle Eastern way and just put the wand on your waterline and close your eyes and drag it across. Its so quick and easy!

i dont use any type of primer

however under my eyes (my eye bags lol), i put concealer on and then pat it with a light matte foundation to set it. then i put the kohl eye-liner on in my water line. i dunno if that helps any, but i barely get any smearing with this stuff if you put it on right

I have the black and navy. I really like them. They are a great knock-off the guerlain ones (I maybe like them better than my guerlain ones).. but the one thing that bothered me was that there wasn't a seal on the lid! Anyone could have been trying them out and putting them back on the rack... gross.

i hate guerlain because they ripped off the eastern traditional lliner and made it like super pricey for no reason. i use traditional black pakistani kajal that i get imported its great but i would like too try these colors, but i havent liked HIP products so far.

def get a couple of them! so get this, i was on-campus today for about 6 hours walking to class in 13 degree weather w/ a 0 degree wind chill...FREEZING...anytime i was outside, my eyes watered a lot, BUT get this, when i came home i saw there were no eye-liner smudges under my eye AND none of it came off of my water-line and the intensity of the eye-liner color was the same from when i first applied it this morning! this stuff is amazing
