I thought your newest test video was better. It had the sound effects of the lightsabers in that one. But you need to make a longer video. At least a 2 minute video. Oh, and make sure Blake is in it. I thought the two of you acted great in both videos. :)
@MsKittykat2003 Unfortunately, Blake is the reason this video isn't longer. He showed up for this first day of filming and then never showed up again afterwards. Because he quit on me in this manner, he won't be in future videos. Sorry.
@EternalDarkness316 Star Wars + Jumper = Project Mirage! I've seen other attempts here on YouTube trying to do the same thing, but there always seems to be something missing from those clips. My goal with this video is to meet peoples ideas of Jumper plus a Lightsaber fight low-budget style. Glad you have enjoyed the sample so far! :)
Hey, you should make a video explaining the best way to pull off some of those amazing lightsaber flips, twists, and generally badass moves you guys pull in your videos. Some of those things you guys do so fast I can barely even see how it happens, much less how to learn it myself.
@TheChosenOne816 This is a very intriguing idea, however, I can't say I know what you mean by 'badass moves'. As far as my clips go, and from what I can tell, there are no true badass moves. My other actor and I don't know karate or anything of the sort, we just do what comes natural. Personally, I think it's the VFX that make our 'moves' shine. But if you're seeing these moves in my videos, PM me and point them out and I'll see what I can do.
@TazarZero Eheh... sorry, guess I could be a little more specific than 'badass' huh?
I guess I'm inferring a bit from the video, but it looks pretty high caliber editing and choreography, so I assume that you can do the spinning moves seen in the videos you have in your "New Divide: Another Dedication..." video, especially with a project this intriguing. Showing the hand motions and finger movement needed to create good-looking spins on the saber would be an extremely helpful set of videos.
