i recorded me playing the song on my camera, uploaded it to my computer and used a video editing programme called sony vegas to put the actual song underneath the video of me playing it and tried to sync them in time with each other.

failed badly on this video, but if you check out some of my others you will see this demonstrated better

if you dont have vegas, windows movie maker works fine, hope this helped

just an old yamaha which came with kit, it sounds pretty nice in this video, don't actually remember what model it was, i don't use that snare anymore, the heads are more important than the drum itself though - hope that helped

I didn't, I just put my recording over the top of the actual song, but made sure my recording was louder. Because I'm playing the same thing as the track and in time you can't hear the background drums. Hope this helps

No idea. The best thing to do is just go to your local B&Q or wherever and buy a pair of good ear phones. thats all i did, then i plugged my ipod earphones in and put the earphones on the top. I need to get a new pair today actually, I've just lost mine :O
