well i am not against ouer troops supporting ouer allies there but even the supporters say, if ouer troops leave afghanistan the things will go back to as it was bevore within 3 monthes, so we obviously have to stay there 100 years and brainwash the peopel or get the hell out there now and i doubt troops woud stay there permernently...so i see the good intencion but i dont see how it shoud effect the country on long therms.

I'm from the UK and my Grandad was evacuated from London when he was a child but i'm glad Europe is united now. And I'm glad we have German troops supporting our troops in Afghanistan. With British cunning and German efficiency and French... croissants, we'll be able to punch above our weight in the world.

And as for deserts, I guess theyll just have to do what the rest of the world does, and get experience being in the real thing.

The fact that we had general drafting for men until last year makes many people feel connected to the forces of course.
The historical problem is that many people just feel bad about any intervention that the german forces are getting into because the "Bundeswehr" was build as a defensive army for the cold war and also because of the american and british shitstorm of propaganda after WW2 that was set up to make us feel bad about our past.

Unhaltbares Geplapper..."Guerilla Krieg" ist eine taktische Doktrin in der Kriegsführung. Auch NATO Einheiten werden darin unterrichtet, da es sich um das Mittel der Wahl in bestimmten Situationen (z.B. hinter den feindlichen Lienien, ohne Nachschub, etc.) handelt. Im Übrigen durchaus eine Kunst, da es sich nicht nur um Kampftaktiken handelt sondern auch Nachschub, Etablierung und Verhandlung von Beziehungen vor Ort uvm. vitale Rollen spielen.

"Guerilla" ist eine taktische Vorgehensweise welche von unsymmetrischen Kräfteverhältnissen ausgeht. Die moderne Referenz taktischer Natur ist wohl Che Guevaras Leitfaden "La Guerra de Guerrillas". Auf Seiten der NATO ist der französische General André Beaufre der einflussreichste Guerilla-Taktiker des 20. Jhd. Guerilla-Taktik ist nicht "Armut und Glauben auszunutzen" oder Unschuldige töten. Das war meine Aussage ;)
