It doesn't get much more ominous and scary than this. And not despite that the music is slow, but exactly BECAUSE of that. (Nothing against speed per se, though)

I have been a huge fan of MDB and of dark, thmospheric music with a big goth influence for many years, and I feel I am qualified to make the following claim: It does not get any gothier and darker than this song.

The section in the end makes me feel as if I'm walking through a cemetery at night, in the company of ancient, restless souls, with an eerily calm athmosphere. But I am not bothering them, and they're not bothering me. We're just co-existing and are very aware of each other's company.

I think this is their best song, best album. But the last two CD´s are almost equal. Saw them live at the Dynamo Festival Eindhoven in 95/96. Blast, what a package at Friday evening. Skyclad, My Dying Bride, Tiamat..... Those were the days !
