  • @Power1Productions1 Yea but its hard as hell to get it to break...

  • @Power1Productions1 roy oswalt does it a lot

  • its a ball the point of the eephus is to throw the batter off and then he threw a fastball and he was behind on the pitch

  • No it's a ball. It was outside.

  • thats a strike

  • よし、ホモは死滅したな

  • pwnt

  • Holy Kadelka

  • it was a ball because it went OVER the strikezone, lol

  • holy kadelka

  • Go Rivercats!

  • that was cool but he could of hit it harder

  • the crowd barely reacted at all

  • i won my little league championship w/ the eephus! :)

  • ajlepisto was right(below me) it isnt where the catcher catches it retards, it is where it crosses the plate.

  • folks, its not where the catcher catches the ball, its where it went through the zone. This was WAY high.

  • STRIKE

  • HOLY KADELKA

  • I call it from time to time, never get a called strike though, just trying to get them to nibble at the pitch.

  • HOLY KADELKA! lol wtf?

  • that shit was high as fuck. ball all day. good call.

  • noooooooooooo jim joyce..noooooooo.......was...was it a little outside........nooooo on the corner how could u jim joyce how could u :(

  • i love oriental pitching

  • holy kadelka? what the hell

  • Everyone who thinks it's a strike is a dumb ass how can that pitch cross the plate for a strike? Oh wait... IT CAN'T!!!!!!!!

  • @timetilldeath25 Why can't it?

  • @timetilldeath25 Actually according to physics it can, it just has to bounce before it reaches the catcher

  • That was probably a strike dumb shit

  • Holy kedalka??

  • lol @ everyone who says that's a strike

  • holy kadelka

  • holy kadelka shut the fuck up haha

  • why is charles barkley doing baseball?

  • 0:01-0:03 "fastball at 85 at the chode"

  • i call this the homerun pitch hahaha its pretty cool though

  • lmao... shoulda wrung him up...

  • I didn't know this was a pitch that a pitcher actually has used. I bought MLB 2k10 a few weeks ago and saw this pitch and that the pitch was as slow as 40 mph so I added it to one of my pitchers and I love it. It looks kind of like a curveball/floater pitch I would say I don't know lol.

  • must say...I love the finisher

  • Hhahahahaha!

  • TDN

  • don´t forget its only a strike if it flies in the strike zone as a strike and not where the catcher catches it

  • @yogaflame30 thank you, so many people crying that it was a strike, not at all, good call blue

  • @AllMagic13 it definitely was a strike

  • @jaatown23 you definitely dont know baseball

  • @AllMagic13 oh ight ive only played baseball since i was 4 and now im a sophomore starting varsity and pitch a good amount on varsity.........but yeah ur right i dont baseball........

  • @jaatown23 doesnt mean you know pro baseball, highschool and pro baseball is completely different, i know kids on hs teams who don't know a thing about the pros

  • @AllMagic13 really the only difference in the pros is the skill level is way higher......u cant leave a fastball in the middle of the plate and not expect at least a double.....and the text book strike zone is technically from your chest to knees with about half an inch to an inch off the black of the plate......all umps have a different strike zone, basic baseball knowlege

  • @jaatown23 id say theres a little more difference than that, hs relies on small ball, pros varies, and ofcourse batting is different when it comes to when to take pitches etc

  • @jaatown23 it doesn't matter where the pitch is caught it matters where it crosses the plate. That is a ball my friend

  • that was not strike because it was to hight.....

  • that wuz rite in da middle

  • eso fue strike!

  • stick to soccer and cricket china

  • @murderon16thstreet ok, hes Japanese tho dipshit

  • strike

  • @trufiend138 Nope, ball.

  • @trufiend138 the pitch ends up up and away in the catcher's mitt which means seeing the arc the pitch took this was too high when it crossed home plate. basically, for an eephus pitch to be a called strike it would have to bounce on home plate seeing how big an arc it gets. its almost coming down vertical.

  • @trufiend138 totally not a strike crossed the plate to high

  • ive always wanted to throw that pich

  • fuck jim joyce im from detroit we hate that mother fucka

  • @McFireCroch102 hate him all u want, he was rated the best umpire in the majors in 2010

  • jim joyce strikes again

  • is this banner island ballpark in stockton ca

  • I wicked knuckle ball is way harder to hit because it is completely unpredictable, and all you do with a faster fastball is start your swing sooner

  • i threw that pitch in practice. and i almost made it forward

  • A wicked Knuckle ball or a really fast fastball? Which one is tougher?

  • @Astromchaser i feel its harder to hit a wicked knuckle

  • @Astromchaser Well at 100+mph its going to be harder the first couple of pitches but when you get your timing right the knuckle ball will be way harder.

  • good curveball after eephus

  • That was a strike wtf.

  • 30 mph tops

  • If the eephus is thrown high enough it can be difficult to hit

  • the pitch sucks...it would be awesome if it worked, but most people hit home runs off of it

  • Awesome! A little high? I am saying STRIKE

  • that was extremely retarded pitch ever see before

  • nice, that was pretty cool

  • omg i would demolish that pitch

  • @LickThis2 A 3 year old would demolish that pitch

  • @BRAVESFAN1025 dumb bravesfan

  • @LickThis2 no you wouldnt. you suck

  • @loopofloop oh?

  • holy cadelka

  • That was pretty close to a strike if not one. The ball did pass the batter at the neck, it started high but was very close to belly-high when it passed the back of the plate. A pitch is designated as a strike with regards to its location over any part of the plate, not only the front or back.

  • @generatorx: You're really suggesting you could tell, in this two-dimensional angle from center field, that the pitch caught the back of the plate? What a joke.

  • @bigyaz

And I'm sure that you could tell it was not from your angle?

  • @generatorx: No, unlike you I wouldn't be delusional enough to try to make that call based on a crappy video. I would trust the plate umpire though. First, he's a pro, and second, he's a few feet away.

  • @bigyaz

You must have not interpreted my initial post correctly. Look at the first post, it says the pitch was pretty close to a strike if not one. I did not argue that the umpire was wrong. I also alluded to the fact that if the pitch at any time touches the vertical strike zone while over the plate. Because the ball has a steep vertical angle, it does appear to be high near the front of the plate, as it reaches the back it comes quite close to the strike zone and PERHAPS even hit it.

  • is that jim joyce behind the plate? that's a strike.

  • @EagleLC21

    Oh that's low. rofl haha

  • @EagleLC21 Dude thats not fair, Joyce made one mistake and he was very apologetic about it. Players around the league voted him as the best umpire in baseball and that was before he made that mistake

  • @danynumero6 dude, chill, it's a joke. Joyce has been more than forgiven by Tigers fans.

  • @EagleLC21 alright my bad, I just felt so bad for the guy and I've seen him get ridiculed a lot, that I just dont want him to feel any worse about it

  • @EagleLC21 It was a ball. WAY too high.

  • @EagleLC21 So Jim Joyce makes one bad call in his umpiring career and now u are allowed to reference to him in bad call situations.. Joyce is one of the best in the business...

  • @kchilds25 lol its a joke. you'll be ok, don't cry.

  • @kchilds25 hey buddy, lighten up. It was a joke, who gives a shit.

  • @EagleLC21 Probably Armondo Garalaga :)

  • strike

  • that was a strike a little outside but a strike

  • turn on transcribe audio :D

  • @CF40 you are a real butthole I hope you get your eyesight back, learn what a strike is, and get banned from YouTube cuz you are a real jerk to me and all other YouTube account members who hate you

  • @CF40 you need to learn what the strike zone is. The strike zone stretches from the knee to the chest and the outside to the inside corner. You need to get your eyes checked if you thought that was a ball you idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • ok that was definatly a strike!!

  • gay its just a

    fukin rambow

  • that was sexy

  • Definitely a ball, with that arc, the ball would have to hit the ground behind the plate to pass within the batter's strike zone.

It's not where it's caught, it's where it crosses the plate and the batter's stature determines the height of the strike zone.

Funny pitch. We don't see it enough.

  • That Ump fully missed the call, it was actually a strike pause at 0:03, you can see it's on the top outside corner of the strike zone, no way that was a ball.

  • @AznSenasian it was a ball you dumbass

  • @CF40 Are you stupid? It was on the top outside of the corner it was a strike you're some blind dumbass, you're worse than Jim Joyce when he screwed up Armando's Perfect Game

  • @AznSenasian Oh man I saw the highlights of Jim Joyce crying! And it looked like Galaraga was smiling the whole time. Maybe he just couldnt belive that some blind umpire blew his perfect game...

  • @AznSenasian no you are fucking stupid. the strike zone is OVER THE PLATE, not the catchers glove. the ball dropped from 20 feet high way over the plate. Just because the catchers glove appeared in the strike zone when he caught it doesnt mean it was a strike. idiot

  • @CF40 Are you an amateur baseball player? Even before the catcher catches the ball, it was already in the strike zone and look where the strikezone is, it's from knees to elbows (most of the time) and the ball landed IN the strikezone, idiot.

  • @AznSenasian I swear you are fucking retarded... the catcher sits about 6 feet behind the batter, when the ball passed by the batter it was VERY HIGH, which makes it a ball. The catchers glove was in the strike zone but it doesnt matter because the ball was WAY OVER the strike zone when it crossed the plate, then dropped in the catchers glove, which makes it a ball. fucking idiot

  • @CF40 I swear you're in a mental constitution that thinks reading the basics of baseball means they know everything look at where his release point was, the ball was up high in the air but look at where the height of the ball and the strike zone is, the ball is parallel to the outside part of the strike zone, go and take over Jim Joyce's job and be the next person to screw up someone's perfect game little fucking retard

  • @AznSenasian trust me you dumbass, that ball came down at practically a 90 degree angle, it was high when it passed the plate by ALOT.

  • @CF40 And I'm suppose to trust someone that's in a fricken mental constitution? You gotta b e out of your mine and that ball was exactly parallel to the strike zone and then ball was no where near up in the zone it was IN the zone

  • @AznSenasian And we are to respect the opinion of someone who is clearly out of his MINE? Or did you mean MIND? Maybe you belong in a constitution! Or maybe you meant INSTITUTION?

  • @thejeff200 Callled typo's genius

  • @AznSenasian Hey Typo's happen...like how you spelled caLLLed...and I can even give you MINE as the "e" is close to the "d"..but you can NOT dispute that you are the retard for saying mental constitution...THAT my friend is a major typo in your brain cells...case closed.

  • @thejeff200 Oh my bad, we're all suppose to be perfect, even with just ONE typo it's the end of the world, really that's why mistakes happens no one was born to be perfect, so stop critizing other people for their mistakes, like you don't make mistakes

  • @AznSenasian Actually..it is supposed...not suppose...and if you scroll down...you will see that you TWICE said constitution...just fess up...you are the retard you enjoy calling others....please don't reply with more ammo....you are a fail

  • @thejeff200 I'm a retard? Are you kidding me you're the one critizing people for mistakes, Mr. Perfect, it's already sad that you think you're so perfect and this had nothing to do with you, so why don't you mind your own business

  • Comment removed

  • @AznSenasian First off you lil prick (pun intended), I never claimed to be perfect. I simply found it funny that you would call people retarded while reading your post made me think you were. Constitution? lmao. You (rice weenie) are simply an a-hole with an opinion. We all have both...maybe next time you will be a little nicer when you express yours. If not, I will once again beat you down like the little bitch you are. Good day!

  • My friend invented the kneephues! It's a combination of a knuckle and an eephues.

  • @xHoltonisaNinjax for some reason i know you are lying

  • Holy Ka Delta!!!

  • lmao its not even really a pitch you dont gripit any different then a regular throw you just throw it high and it drops in

  • At the end he Muttered, "fuckin gook"

  • Holy cadelka lol

  • LOL he throws his bat out of anger at the end

  • I can throw that!!!

  • reminds me of my ex-wife

  • I think he might have gotten him on that blooper... but on the other hand, that freak pitch got the job done, striking him out on a breaking ball that must have looked like a bullet

  • Oh here's the eephus pitch!! LOL!!

  • you gotta give some credit to the catcher framing that pitch, i dont know how the umpire managed to call that a ball, lol, probably went OVER the strike zone

  • a little high a little outside i think

  • Holy Kadelka!

  • ahahahhah

  • fag
