You know, watching this, I gotta say that even the stop motion animation ages better than a lot of the CGI these days, with the possible exception of Avatar. CGI comes off as too cartoony, while the textures achieved with these models are perfect. Sometimes the motion can be limited, but I'll take these over CGI any day.
hmmm.. they dont look as a harpy,, I think thats a demon, having blue skin and a wings of a bat, I'm sure thats a demon, because if it is a harpy, it should have wings of a bird not a bat wings and not blue skin it should be a feather
Phineas released too much information about the gods, and thus Zeus didn't want to kill him for this but make him regret his mistakes.. So he placed him on this island with a buffet of food protected by harpies and also blind.. He was never meant to be killed there, just tortured..
yessssss very good that was Dr Who he was my fave one WELL DONE! YOU HAVE A GOOD EYE! Gosh I remember almost everything about this movie, but never knew that was Dr Who thanxxxxxx
Unlike the harpy from another movie, "Jack, the Giant Killer." In that fantasy flick, Torin Thatcher, as the evil sorcerer and Prince of Witches, Pendragon, transforms himself magically into a giant, flying creature...with the head of a wolf, an eagle's body and talons, the leather-like wings of a bat, and a serpent's tail! Harpies are as much a part of ancient mythology as chimeras, rocs, and griffins....
poor blind guy those monsters never let him eat peacefuly until jason came
but yeah zeus is an asshole alright!!!

i thought harpies were more "bird-women" less "pain and panic from disney's hercules"
i'd even settle for harpy lady from yugioh
pantstelly93 2 years ago
@pantstelly93 I thought the bird women were Sirens
