  • hay đấy

  • this sounds a lot nicer. it's a shame that this will be remembered as the 'nokia ringtone.'

  • It's not like this was any big secret and in first Nokia phones it was even named after the song. Go see Wikipedia: Nokia Tune

  • on old phones the tune was known as "gran vals"...

  • @RusNad Grande Valse*

  • @HeviSevi oh yes, despite the original song being called gran vals...

  • @RusNad Did you just agree?

  • @HeviSevi yes...

  • no, that's not good.

  • who is the player here ? Really nice :))

  • If the man died in 1909, then his work would be public in 70 years or so since his death, so his copyright over this melody is FORFEIT, bitches :D

  • @mrbing993 Excuse me sir, but you don't get it. Public domain? Yeah. But... Nokia says it is its sound trademark!!!! "PUBLIC DOMAIN"??? Who's violating the public domain principle? It's just DISGUSTING entrepreneurial arrogance. That of yours is a very poor stance in culture matters

  • @magomezga Well, It's totally legal to take an excerpt even of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and declare it a copyrighted Tune, that is, no company should use that tune for itself. Nokia didn't take the WHOLE Gran Vals, just the excerpt

  • mucha gente no lo conoceria a tárrega si no fuera por nokia. No es mi caso, yo lo conozco de antes porque soy un capo.

  • The tune is not stolen at all. Nokia has bought all the rights to this tune. What is more, we should thank Nokia for making this tune the most heard tune in the world (it is estimated that this tune is heard about 2 billion a day).

  • @moro2mou you should stop searching info in wikipedia,

  • @moro2mou Nokia didn't boght anything my friend. You don't have any idea of how this companies work!! In fact, they used the song just after the prescription of the author's rights. They didn't buy anything beacause there was nothing to buy. INSTEAD THEY CLAIM THE TUNE AS ITS SOUND TRADEMARK!!!

  • damnn ppl are just hating this songs so smooothing :)and awesome!

  • this is david russell !

  • nice tune!

i'd like the "stolen" part, and the end is great!

    great song...

  • Tsk... stolen ? Tarrega died in 1909, his work is public domain now.

  • @mokmo23 I agree, but I don't think it should be used for commercials

  • @mokmo23 Excuse me sir, but you don't get it. Public domain? Yeah. But... Nokia claims it is its sound trademark!!!! "PUBLIC DOMAIN"??? Who's violating the public domain principle? It's just DISGUSTING entrepreneurial arrogance.

  • It's not really "stolen" if the rights are bought and the song is openly credited.

    Derr.

  • how could they do it? poor tarrega...

  • @agvap Think how many more people discovered Tarrega and his work simply because of that ringtone. Granted that most people will probably recognize the Nokia tune but never know any of Tarrega's works...but at least a couple people will :)

  • Its not really stolen. They openly credit it.

Nice song all the same though.

  • Very well played!!

    I like it very much!

Too bad the sheet it´s only the first part and not the whole sheet. :(

    Congratz!
