We didnt get Henne because out track record of producing NFL-style QBs begins and ends with Kerry Collins. Michigan has a much better position coach. If you were an unbiased, objective recruit...who would you choose? Im not so sure that JayPa wouldntve found a way to ruin Henne.

@vinnymckee You mean the same Daryll Clark that got cut by the Redskins and Robinson, who played RB in the NFL? Robinson was a great player, but a mediocre passer. If not for his feet, he'd have been another McGloin. I hate to say it, but any big time QB with NFL aspirations should stay FAR FAR away from Jay Paterno and Penn State.

To be fair, Henne and the two aforementioned QBs are different players. Clark is a good passer, but MRob was just a fine athlete playing at QB. We just do better with dual-threat QBs. Highly regarded pocket-passers just haven't cut it here, outside of Kerry Collins and our track record shows it. Not trying to cut on our team, just calling it for what it is.

Zack Mills was pretty good until he was injured at the Virginia game. A combination of his never recovering from that injury and few good WRs caused the 2003-2004 fall into the pit.

Great video...could have done without the Morelli clips. We didn't run the spread with him...he was one dimentional drop back pass....only he couldn't read opposing defences that well..

PSU is 0-7 at the Horseshoe since joining the Big Ten and has scored in double digits only ONCE, a 21-10 loss in 2004. The other Lions' point totals? 6, 7, 9, 6, 7 and 6. Ohio State has outscored PSU 197-51 in Columbus. GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohio State is winless against Penn State at the Shoe when starting a freshman QB and has never even scored against Penn State with a freshman QB.

The Point? History does not matter. The score will be 0-0 when the game starts and all the history in the world doesn't get anyone a first down. By the way PSU had only scored 6 points in there last 2 trips to Madison...they scored 48 this year.

After seeing us rape Oregon State, I think we have a chance of being true contenders here, just as long as the defense continues to play stingy, just like it always has, and just as long as they offense doesn't go into conservative mode on the road.

And plus we could've had a 9-3 if not 10-2 or a sight chance of a 11-1 season last year if it wasn't for Morelli. Illinois game 4 turnovers in the redzone and lost by 7 and Michigan State game he was just terrible... And the Michigan game he was very bad and made bad choices. But we got those teams this year! Not too sure about OSU and Wisc because they're away. But we WILL be good! I feel it. Fight on State

Everytime Penn State runs the spread HD they are good so lets hope Daryll Clark has a year as good as or better then Micheal Robinson. I agree with the 10-2 record and a visit to the Rose Bowl! WE ARE!

Loved the clips from 05 with Robinson. Gets me pumped up for the 08 season with Clark. Hope the result is similar, except that PSU wins the BCS champinship this time.

first, the things i don't know about this video: 1. is this supposed to be a satire on the new so called "spread hd"? 2. where did you get all of the radio clips? they were great. Now, what I do know: 1. this video is well made, 2. the video quality for youtube was really good. 3. if penn state plays like they do in the video we'll be solid. 4. i'm now even more excited for 2008 2.
