This is a great song, but is not Rapa Nui origin, but Tahitian. The dancers are also Tahitian. I'm just crazy about the dancing though. The three center dancers are the best, especially the one in middle, she is a Polynesian beauty. But the dancer to the left of her is the best dancer of the group. Just watch her hand and arm movements. So fluid and expressive. Good Polynesian dancing is not just in the hips.
The song is about Rapa Nui, but if you do a little googling, you'll notice that the group Fenua originates from Tahiti. Same with the songs and dancers. If you search for the ending song on this live concert E Vahine Maohi E on youtube, the leader of the group and composer says goodbye to the audience in perfect French, which is not used on Rapa Nui but only in Tahiti.
