you should come over to the UK and start a reptile shop, its pathetic how little store owners know about reptiles who sell them. Its also really bad how few reptile vets there are.
That snake Is Mad!!! They Shouldn't mess with her while they were filming, I wonder if any snakes have struck and attacked them while they're filming. And WOW thats alot of eggs!!!!
@Kooseandco1 Any comments that are inappropriate or do not have anything to do with the video are not approved. Also any language over PG may not be approved as we have a lot of kids on our channel.
@underyourspell13 They are in a place where the eggs are not save so they put them in a place where they are and where there is an ideal temperature. and if they let the mother have the eggs she wont eat for many months and maybe even die!
If you have been watching their videos, then you would know that they only take their eggs because where the snakes lay the eggs aren't idea places for the unhatched eggs to survive. So they take them and put them in an incubator.
@xLittlexIdiotsx123 if you dont like videos about snake clutches then dont watch them and i think they would know a lot more about this than you and me combined go troll on a different video
@xLittlexIdiotsx123 There's no animal cruelty here.He took the eggs out to incubate. 2) He NEVER hit that snake, I watched 3 times. 3) That eye thingy is so very real, most large snake bites are in the eyes/face. 4) Those snakes are captive bred. That's much better than capturing them in the wild. 5) They incubate the eggs because more survive, it's better for the snakes. 6) You NEVER let captive bred snakes, or exotic snakes loose in the wild, in a place where they are not native animals.
WTF. look how this guy drops the snake at 2:10.. i take my comment back on the other video, atleast once in all of this guy's videos theres atleast 1 animal cruelty clip or part..
@MrGooseMuffin You'd rather see him be bit, that's all. He didn't drop the snake on purppose, it was after he already was trying to avoid a snake bite.
You think it feels good to be bitten? I've been struck & coiled on by the Burmese I rescued & whose life I was trying to save. It's not fun. You know nothing about these snakes.
@MrGooseMuffin Are you stupid? He should just stand there and let it bite him? YOU wouldn't. He showed good control, making sure that snake wasn't harmed. For crying out loud, these snakes throw themselves OUT OF TREES, as juveniles, to land on their prey. And YOU think being dropped 6 inches, if it was that much, is going to HURT her? mIt's easy to say "HE should have.." this or that, but you can't say you'd do the same, you weren't there. have you been snake bit? I have. Mea culpa
@MrGooseMuffin Okay, launch is a bit of a strong word, but they hang out in trees, strike their prey, fall out of the trees trying to capture. The point is they have a far greater chance of being hurt in the wild.
she's so pretty and it seems like you take good measures in caring for her and the eggs.
but i dont really like that animals are breed for profit, not because you breeders dont do your job, but because alot your customers probably wont care for the animals as much as u. =(
i am curious tho, how do you know if an egg is infertil??
@xLittlexIdiotsx123 hey dumbass the hatch the snakes eggs for her so more of them live and ho is is it animal cruelty he way pinning the head down so he dot get bit
@STKGHOSTshadow He DIDN'T pin her head down, he placed the lid over her body, loosely. She still had full range of movement. He used it as a shield, it blocked her view of him. It also made her waste time and body length getting around it to get to him to bite him.
@xLittlexIdiotsx123 If you don't take the eggs some of them may not hatch , they take the eggs for better resluts on hatching. I always take my snakes eggs when she lays them. They werent reallly hiting the snake with the lid. they was covering the snakes head so she wouldn,t strike at them. i mean really... do you know how much it hurts to be bit by a snake that size?
That has to be as calm as i have seen anyone act around a large aggressive snake, good work. The mother was stunning, what is she like for attitude when not protecting eggs just out of interest?
@xLittlexIdiotsx123 You need to check facts 100% before posting a comment... This isn't animal cruelty, this is ensuring the survival of a species of animal. And frankly, by posting your blunt comment in all caps, you've further secured yourself in looking like a jackass.
@xLittlexIdiotsx123 Its not about nature its about responsibility. We inconvenience the mother for a few minutes so that 30+ baby snakes can live. On top of it all After we take the eggs the female starts eating again! Instead of going off food for 3 months... All of us are keeping animals in captivity that can not survive here on their own with out human intervention. If we set all the snakes we have free they would all die so we make sure they are safe and fed under our care.
@prehistoricpetstv 3 people didn't like the statement I'm commenting on, can you believe it? Yet, if you were to stop, & said "Well, only 1-3 animals die, only 25% are at risk, so we decided to stop cutting the shells", people would start picketing and protesting against you! They'd throw a fit!
@dakalen YOU chose to come here, we didn't invite you. YOU CHOSE to watch the video, we didn't suggest it. If you arenb't happy here don't waste time complaining, GET OUT!
Why don't you just shut-up and go find the puppy & kitten videos and GO AWAY from videos you DON'T like, & stop belly-aching and complaining when you clearly chose to come here and watch the video?
BTW How much DID the tooth fairy leave last week? a dollar? 2 dollars? Just curious.
@dakalen Then why are you still here? Some of us have the ability to love animals that don't look like plushies. I personally find snakes beautiful. If you don't like them, you are free to go skipping back to watch little fluffy things again.
@ranifan702 They can see whole shapes with their IR, but their eyes are visual and also allow them to focus on faces, it's a survival imperative. They strike at the face cuz they try to latch onto the snout of prey, so it doesn't bite them as they constrict it. I've watched a snake grab a mouse wrong, get bit, & drop it, then strike again, grabit by the snout (so it couldn't bite him again), & finished constricting it. hen do it to every single new prey meal ever since. SO yes, it's true.
@ranifan702 1 of 3 Eyesight: Snake vision varies greatly, from only being able to distinguish light from dark to keen eyesight, but the main trend is that their vision is adequate although not sharp, and allows them to track movements. Generally, vision is best in arboreal snakes and weakest in burrowing snakes. Some snakes, such as the Asian vine snake (genus Ahaetulla), have binocular vision, with both eyes capable of focusing on the same point.
@ranifan702 2 of 3: Most snakes focus by moving the lens back and forth in relation to the retina, while in the other amniote groups, the lens is stretched.
Smell:Snakes use smell to track their prey. They smell by using their forked tongues to collect airborne particles, then passing them to the vomeronasal organ or Jacobson's organ in the mouth for examination. The fork in the tongue gives snakes a sort of directional sense of smell and taste simultaneously.
@ranifan702 3 of 3: Infrared sensitivity: Pit vipers, pythons, and some boids have infrared-sensitive receptors in deep grooves between the nostril and eye, although some have labial pits on their upper lip just below the nostrils (common in pythons), which allow them to "see" the radiated heat of warm-blooded prey mammals.
“The information of the infrared and the visual system are BOTH represented in the optic tectum,” the brain must reconstruct the heat distribution from blurry images.
@catslol12 her body is the main problem here, since they need to move her off the eggs. And you hold the heads of venomous snakes to stop them biting you, since if this snake bit you all she'd do would give you a nasty cut
do you milk the cobra? Have you ever been bitten by a venomous snake? Are the cobras still venomous even as they hatch? i find your videos of handling venomous snakes much more interesting than pythons
they are smart. most of them dont give much, if any, problems or difficulties taking the eggs away. also, its a combination of heat sensory, as well as eye contact.
they arent smart as much as they are pissed off 'cause you're jackin the eggs :p they go for the eyes 'cause of how their heat pits work. the eyes give off a crazy heat signature. science is fun :D
5000*s Amazing video and I've always been told if a retic makes eye contact with a person and holds that stare it's time to back out and move. That is one fine looking female for sure. Wow those are some really huge eggs looks like a great clutch.
