@Exerzet I don't here a similiarity. They seem to sing in a different vocal range. If I had to guess, Anna is an Alto, while Bertine is either a higher Alto (don't recall if I or II is higher) or a Soprano.

as for your observation of anna's ghostly presence, well, kate also has a very eerie and ghostly presence especially on the video of wuthering heights. i think kate bush is one of anna's muisc influence, not vocally but imagery wise. .

I can not find many songs other than Wuthering Heights where Katie would be particularly eerie. She is more tongue-in-cheek, crazy, fascinating and experimental. I don't see Anna Ternheim dancing around making a surprised or happy face. And I have never seen Kate Bush standing still singing and trying to look cool in a uniform.

I see no great similarities to Kate Bush here. The video is not at all similar. Anna has a more eerie ghostly feeling to her music, and her voice is not as cocky as Kates.

Where is over here? Although she's pretty big here in Sweden, Anna isn't an 'off the shelf', everyday artist with an all embracing appeal. So rather than reaching out to a huge audience everywhere, I believe and hope she'll be big with those who have an ear for real music. She'll make it. And her output certainly makes a change to the other crap that the industry puts out and wants us to believe is quality.
