  • 3:35 so snappy!

  • awesome !

  • pro body builder would not do it cuz thier muscle weight exceeds thier lifting capacity + they don't have quality muscles,( know some one muscular but kinda weak).

  • A SLOW pull Straight Arm Butterfly to Cross (held), then L-Cross (held), St-Arm/St-Body to Maltese (Held) is what won 1st place in 5th Waikiki Championships. My competitor separated his shoulder!

  • o dang! vicotorian! the butterfly to maltese was the coolest.

  • What's a butterfly?

Oh, shit, Van Gelder's a beast! Inverted cross, lower to back lever, bounce to Maltese. Sick.

I also liked that pull to cross from a hang.

  • a butterfly just goes from hang pull straight up to cross and if ur strong enough pull out into support.

  • So it's just a straight pull from a hang? I don't recall anyone doing that to a MALTESE, but as I mentioned there was one guy who did a straight arm pull from a hang to a cross.

Hey, I also just noticed the one guy who did a SIDEWISE cross. That still in the book?

  • Kom, Left (or Right) Olympic cross, never taken out of book, just hard to transition into or out of without a deduction. Bent knee loses credit though

  • it's not true!!!!It's forbiden now!

  • ot's not true!!!!it's foebiden now!

  • no you can do an Olympic cross its value is a C.

  • Not true. In V3 version is not such a thing like an olympic iron cross!!!!!!!! Especialy because there is no C cross in strength group, just in swing to strength group.

  • I don't think it's forbidden but it certainly wouldn't be a C.

The code lists "any cross" as a B and I can't find anything in the code prohibiting an Olympic cross. (I would think an Olympic cross would fall under the category of "any cross".)

  • Anything, what's not in code of points is prohibited!! Olympic cross was in code, now it's not. So it's prohibited.

  • lol no u cant its not in the code anymore...hasnt been in some time

  • Oh, wait, shit. I JUST noticed that straight arm pull to Maltese from a hang that you were talking about. How did I miss these things?

  • The young man doing a quick pull BF (2:15-18) with inlocate probably lacked the energy & strength to pull out of the cross (required for full credit BF). No discredit to him as very difficult for anyone to complete, Especially at his age. Such muscular development in youth, can lead to later skeletal problems if not trained correctly.

  • I had never seen a Quick pull BF to Maltese performed in competition before!

  • i wonder what would happen if a pro bodybuilder tried to do the rings...give it a try ronnie
