Actually there are still some great musicians nowadays. Sadly those great musicians were suppressed by such things called "now" or "modern" music. Some sex and drugs abusive rappers, or some instant idols, and also some teenagers who didn't actually able to sing, even at the right note of their own songs. But the saddest thing is, kids nowadays only knew them, even thought that song they covered form the real band are their original song, and stupidly saying that the real band is a copycat.
Please check out my video which is a lesson on how to play 'And I Love Her', I cover the intro, verse and middle chords, solo and a nice verse filler. Please leave comments and requests if you liked my lesson. Thanks
A palate is whats missing these days, I cant stand and wont listen to anything created today...I love the sound of a vinyl, I love the pioneering of music back then, there was room to create and be individual, today everything is a copy of everything else. Now this is the first Beatles song I remember my Mom cleaning the house and me singing along to as a wee wane, everything come flooding back to this beauty!
@Brilliantbeing No, there is too much simplicity in new music, at least in rock. A guitar playing 2 or 3 power chords, drums playing the simplest beat, and an almost unheard bass playing 3 repeated quarter notes, and the singer usually sings about money, sex, drugs. Rock is dead.
This is on the Beatles BBC recordings. A 2-cd set that has a BUNCH of gems they recorded live especially for BBC radio to use on their various programmes. I have this cd; don't know if it's still available or not...
The Bach of all modern rock......no other band has written over 200 would be hit songs....crystal clear vocals. I grew up with this band, a once in a lifetime era!!

@JohnLennonIsLove16 i ve been playing this songon the guitar since the 60s learned it when i was about 12 or13 i'm 57 now it's one of my favorites but ti make it sound right you will need to use nylon strings thats how george got that great accoustic studio sound on this song
it's more likely taken from one of the BBC recording sessions. Not sure, but it was said that only two reels of the BBC sessions were ever preserved and most of the surviving recordings of the BBC shows of the Beatles were taken from recordings straight from the radio so the sound quality is not so good and this is one of them
Interesting . . . this is the song, but it's easy to see why this acoustic version prevailed. This is one song that works better with the classical guitar doing lead and the chords played cleaner. An interesting variation though nonetheless.
this is not fake, is a bbc take. a lot of really interesting stuff didn't make it in the official bbc album, (in fact, I could say THE BEST stuff they did at the bbc was left out, the album is full of crap :/ there are awesome versions of the night before, money, I'm talking about you.......... they could have done a better compilation).
paul's voice sounds double tracked, that's the only "weird" thing about it.
@Beetles41 It also sounds very much, for presentation purposes, the master track from the LP of Paul's vocals could have been played in the background? Either that or Paul's voice is still that impressive (along with John)
Beatlenut53 is right. This is the Beatles' BBC version of "And I Love Her". The electric guitar does make it a very "unique version". Thanks so much for the upload. Regards, Virgil Hilts
Can somebody, please anybody, find and post the six-bar ending originally released in Germany, and then release on the 1980 Capitol version of Rarities? It is not to be found ---yet, on the tube.
Very good post...very rare audio for us here in the states. As good as this is,it even makes the acoustic version sound even better, and I guess it didn't hurt once George Martin put his magic on it.
No it is not. I used have a cassette recording of this and a few others not on the BBC cd, that I recorded off the radio in 1981. My favorite is John's double tracked vocal on I Got A Woman, and the song is much faster.

This isn't fake: This is a recording for the BBC, and highly sped up. It is NOT an outtake, although it is unreleased.
Also, the sound recording was terrible, because it was a reel to reel off the radio; studio recordings were not preserved. But this is real.
