A typical set on Arabic nays is comprised of 7 instruments (depending on the scale).

If you are interested in getting started, you should order a "dokah" and a "nawa".

Once you master both instruments, you can get the rest of the set.

Nice Taqsim by Dr. Kadry in his office at the Academy in Zamalek.. I guess that's his favorite Tunisian ney, the one he once sat on. Thats the beauty of these instruments ... they are very resilient .. not natter what happens they seem to keep on playing ....Thanks for the vids.
