  • it is funny that lds put this up. if you pay close attention she ask where should we worship.how does Jesus respond? He tells her its not where but in spirit and in truth. so you do not need to be part of lds for salvation as they claim, you are suppose to worship in spirit and in truth because that is a true worshiper and it is how the Father wants it. read John 4:19-26. it is clear to see.

  • Jeanneim76 - What does James 2:20, 26 mean to you? It is true. By his grace we are saved. But we must put forth an effort to keep the commandments, learn of Him and be like Him. Would you expect to be given something so precious and bought with such price for nothing? How can you know Him and be like Him if you don't learn and strive to be like Him?

  • sure you can be like Him and strive to be like him. he was a great example of how man should treat man but it don't buy you a ticket into heven. you can not ever re-pay Jesus back for what He has given to us with any amount of works. We are all sinners. So if you helped every man on earth out and was nice to everyone, you are still a sinner and it is only through grace that your sins are forgiven.

  • The Word of God shows how to see through false prophets. In studying the Bible I learned that the gospel is this: That Christ came into the world, died for our sins and was resurrected in 3 days. We are saved by grace, not by works. This is what Christ taught, anything outside of Gods word is a false doctrine.

  • @jeanniem76 Faith without works is dead.

Works is good as a consequence of faith, this is LDS doctrine.

We do works because God had asked us and we love him.

  • But it aint gonna buy you a ticket into heven. There is only one thing that can let you into the kingdom and that is His grace. And by the way since your so big on doing what the Lord has asked you to do.What are your thought when he asked not to add or take away from His doctrine?

  • @123adrspain First of all when you said "when he asked not to add or take away from His doctrine"

I think that you are implying a fallacie. Hence I can´t answer such a question.

  • @dorisfenella sure you can, you just dont want to or know how. for example of not giving the full spectrum of His Gosple the BOM cant even get the birth place correct. Alma 7:10 – “And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers…”

Matthew 2:1 – “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea…” sounds like fallacie to you now?

  • @123adrspain No, according to you who wrotte the Book of Mormon and when?

  • @dorisfenella so are you saing you agree with the person who wrote the BOM that Jesus was born in Jerusalem and not Bethelehem? Now you know why christans do not consider mormons christans. and by the way, at the local WARD on christmass the show they put on they were telling the story of Jesus as born in Bethelehem. You know the dvd the play for everyone. So which is it?

  • @123adrspain Do you think the BOM was written by Joseph Smith Jr in the IXX century ?

Mormons are christians too. Are more christians than many so called christians, they live their gospel, they not only speak about it.

  • @dorisfenella No where did i write the words Joseph Smith. i asked you if you agree with the person who wrote the BOM that Jesus was born in Jerusalem and not Bethelehem. Read it again. but is typical mormon response that has no merit or does not want to answer the question. ANSWER THE QUESTION MORMON.

  • @123adrspain I need to know that first to answer. There´s no fallacie there.

  • @dorisfenella i do not understand your response. what are you asking me?

  • @123adrspain “And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers…”

That is fine. I would like to know who do you think wrote this according to you.

  • @dorisfenella Alma

  • @dorisfenella i will answer your question but do not in any way agree with it. It wa writen by Alma found in the book of mormon. Jesus was born in bethelehem. If he wasn't then explain the prophects in the old testement that said He would be born in bethelehem. Mormon worship a jesus born in a different place is whorshiping a different Jesus that bible based christans worship. If i worship a jesus that was born in china would that be the same Jesus of the bible? NO.

  • @dorisfenella denying his birth place, his Jewish ancestry, and his death on the cross. If I were to teach these things about Jesus Christ, they would be enough to define a different (false) Jesus Christ.

  • @123adrspain I told you that is not incorrect and I see you don´t want to answer. What are you afraid of? Anyway you should watch documentaries of the Dead Sea Scrolls, that confirms it was right.

What it seemed a contradiction is in fact, a great proof that the Book of Mormon is true.

  • @dorisfenella wtf are talking about? i answered your question and told you it was writen by Alma. wtf? what does the dead sea scrolls contradict. the dead sea scrolls are copies of the old testment. "scrolls found near the dead sea" wtf. how does that confirm the book of mormon. dude you make no sense. typical mormon response "no sense". what does that have to do with mormons beliving Jesus was born in Jerusalam?
