  • @ThePirateMD I used to also. Try keeping your elbows fixed and slightly forward, not totally incline with your body, rather in front of your hips. GL :)

  • Hey bud I have a question. I have wrist tendinitis and I'm going to try to use straps, to minimize the pain I get in my wrists and forearms when I curls. I noticed when my wrists start hurting I use more back swing, because I just want to speed through the set so my wrists will stop hurting. Will straps be of any benefit to me, until I can build my forearm and wrist strength up? I started doing wrist curls again to try to strengthen the tendons. I hurt my wrists last year and they still hurt.

  • Think to much about form and you forget your training! learn how to lift to grow,,then focus on the muscle fibres contracting every rep, dont waste time thinking bout form,, form comes with in the first week of training form then on, hardcore training is what you need !

  • @ScottHermanFitness Not bad demo dude but 1. Why would you demo without your top on? 2. Your stance for any bicep curl should be legs open and knees slightly bent, it gives you more stability when your body wants to begin the swinging action which takes the effort away from your bicep. Seen worse in the gym though

  • scott i do these excersises and my left arm does not seem to feel the burn, where as my right arm does and im doin the correct weight amount for me? why do you think that is?

  • I personally dont like to let the barbell come down so far like in this video as it puts far to much stress on the joints, Normally just a bit lower then 90degrees from the top of the motion.

  • But, you don't say *why* you're using the inside grip. Do you do it just for the variety, and to "attack" the biceps from a slightly different angle? Or does this target different supporting muscles? Or does this force you to maintain better form? Or is this an advanced move? Or...? I like the videos where you give a sentence or two up front about the focus of the exercise, like "this better targets youf core".
