According to Deborah Kerr's biography, she sang this song (as well as "The Tiny Scout" in An Affair to Remember), whereas Marni Nixon did the other ones.
I was Louis 6 years ago in our HS Production of this, I miss those days. Such a wonderful musical. Now i'm Seymour Krelbourne in Little Shop this year.
i remember back in 71 when i was 3years old and my grandmother use to sing this song to me, not exactly the way you hear it on here. she sung her own version which i think was better. R.I.P. MA love you 4ever
@justcallmeA Actually, Marni Nixon was the one singing. She is also the one singing in My Fair Lady. She is often "the voice behind the face." Deborah Kerr and Audrey Hepburn could not sing. Marni Nixon is hardly ever seen in film but her voice is everywhere. She did play Sister Sophia in the Sound of Music though.
This saved me from the Bong Chong-Dong ghost

The original vinyl album version of this song is way different, with a chorus added that's not in the movie.
