@dovado In Norway using NetCom. FW: 5.0.6 (router). The only info I have found regarding the modem is that I have installed the B12 update available at netcom.no.
@bretteville I'm glad I asked this question, because you are NOT using the latest firmware on your router! :-) Go to w w w . dovado . com / firmware and get the latest from there. Thanks
@dovado I tried updating from the router admin page, and it told me it was up to date. Downloaded the latest update from your website now, and the modem is now discovered. Thank you for excellent help! :-)
@dovado The last couple of weeks I've had problems with my network using this setup. The modem seems to be connected to the internet, but my devices still can't connect, so I have to restart the router, sometimes as often as once every hour. The strange thing is that I can sometimes still acccess my Spotify playlists (no offline songs), and my torrent client sometimes continues to download files, but my web browsers are not online. Could this be caused by the router?
@dovado After two weeks of major network issues I tried connecting the modem directly to my computer, without the use of the Dovado Tiny. After three days of absolutely no issues I connected it through the router once again, and 15 minutes later the problems returned. This is clearly caused by the router. Do you have any solutions?
What about the MF820 modem that Telia is using.. Have just used several thound of dkr to find a router with 4G support.. Netgear was failure and now I have bought the 4GR because it should support the MF820 modem, but router just keeps telling that no modem connected.. but geen light is on (4G status).. Is running the latest firmware.. someone help :(
@MrTweakUp I take it you're in Denmark, correct? That modem is not the same as the ZTE MF820D, which is available in Sweden, Norway and Finland. The Danish variant will be compatible in a couple of weeks once a new firmware is released from ZTE. Thanks!
That is correct.. and OMG why are they using different models, that I do not understand. Then i have to wait to move for new apartment because I can't use the 4G connection for TV etc. That's shitty and Telia is the worst service company ever with that kind of information they give (not your problem).
I will then wait and see, in that time I might have gotten a fastline connection thats cheaper in the long run after 2000dkr wasted. Danish companies telling that 4GR supports the 820 modem!!!!!
This is because I posted the USB mode switch code at the usb_modeswitch forum on 2011 Aug 17, actually I can get any OpenWRT supported router with USB port to work with MF820

Doesn't work for me. I have the ZTE MF820D and Dovado Tiny, but the router can't even find my modem. Have updated both devices, but still no go.

@bretteville Which firmwares are you running on both devices? Also, which country and operator are you in? Thanks

@MrTweakUp A new firmware for your MF820 will be available soon from Telia Denmark, which will solve the compatibility issue. Thanks

@kennylam777 Sorry to disappoint, but it is not. The MF820 is a completely different device from the MF820D.
