  • Lisa, you are absolutely beautiful! I have a question for you... As well as if anyone else could answer this. What kind of foundation should I use that won't cover up my freckles? Also at what age is it important to use moisturizers and skin care products? I've never really thought of doing that much but I want my skin to be healthy... My skin isn't to dry yet not very oily, what type of skin is that? :) lol?? PLEASE ANSWER!

  • is that primer from benefit good for sensitive skin??

  • Does anybody think she looks like Ms. Honey off if Matilda .??

  • I wish she would have put a bit of highlighter on the bridge of her nose. I love that.

  • That pink is gorgeous!

  • you look like a cross between jennifer garner and natalie portman

  • Du-du-du-DUUUU! Max Factor products include products that have been tested on animals! AVOID IT! PLEASE!

  • Great

  • This is gorgeous!!

  • What are violet creams? Some kind of candy?

  • Ah, I just love how brown eyes look with pinks!

  • You actually look like Natalie Portman with this summer look. Very pretty!

  • how old are you?

  • Hey Lisa, do you have dupe (possibly mac?) of the Chanel brush you use with the bronze universal? Thank-you x

  • Lisa Eldridge. You are a beautiful woman!!!

  • You write, that you have been doing other peoples faces day in day out for over 20 but you look like you are 35 years young :)

  • U are butifull

  • Loveeee

  • Hi Lisa! I had very light skin (NC15) and Ive been using an instant self tanner to make my skin a bit darker, and I would like to know how I can make my foundation a tad bit darker to match my skin. Do you know if it would work if I mixed some of my self tanner in with my current foundation? Or do you solely recommend mixing bronzer with it? Or do you have any alternative ideas? Thanks! :)

  • please put more video....

  • you are stunning

  • U remind me of kristian stewart... Beautiful :)

  • You're beautiful !

  • Can I wear it in fall?

  • is it jst me or does her accent ROCK!!

  • you are the woman to watch.

  • Lisa,

I'm currently pregnant with my first and hormones are all over the place, my skin is suffering the worst. I look tired and spotty, I'm used to having naturally oily skin but never to the point of spots. I've also lost a lot of colour in my face, so I look more pale than ever. If you had to dress my face in the morning and make me look fresh and ready for the day, how would you tackle my problem?

  • @sazzrhilee i just had my 1st 4 months ago, personally i take a squeezed out lemon wedge w some sugar and rub my face, NOT scrub, pat dry when you wash,if you'r skin feels tight just a little moisturizer at night, in the morning just rub your face oil over your face and splash with water, pat dry, rub some foundation if you need it around your nose mouth and cheeks, some bronzer to frame your face and a little w some peach toned blush on the cheeks curl lashes do brows peachy/pink lipstick

  • @sazzrhilee and a little gold on the lids. thats what i would do if i was going out for the day or the doctor, maybe i would even do line my lash line w black or dark grey shadow so it wasn't so harsh. it helped me to look fresher and not so made up. i loved my pregnancy so much and was lucky to not have as many problems with it, but it does make your skin spazz out for a while and i really hope this helped you a little. good luck and best to you and the little one:)

  • love the look i actually wanted to ask when should we throw out the make up ? like every 6 month ?

  • Hi Lisa, I love your make-up tutorial. I have these Dior eye palette in no. 809 and cannage color collection.. Can u pls do the tutorial of this? will be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Thanks for this. I thought at first, that the bronzer was discontinued post summer ( no one seemed to be able to get hold of it), but I got chatting at a counter and I am now wait listed :-)) . Can't wait to try this out... Ang x

  • What camera do you use?

  • Hi Lisa,I'm just wandering, how much do u charge to do make for one person??? :)

  • I just discovered you and one have the task of watching them all (:

  • Makeup collection?

  • Wow, you're stunning! I love how you don't use a lot of make-up but there is such a huge transformation.

  • Beautifull!! :'))

  • how could I have no idea of your subsistence? :D I feel like I missed something essential all these years oO

    means: gosh you're phenomenal!!

  • Hey i absolutely love your videos, I've learned a lot from them. But my question is would you mind showing us how you would use the Chanel bronzing base on someone with a darker complexion?

  • Thanks Lisa for all the make up tips! I addicted to all ur videos this is one of my favourites!! I was wondering i take forever in the morning to get my make up on. Is there any make look that takes under 15 minutes

  • you gorgeous lisa i love all your videos ,your work, your personality... you such a sweetheart t<3

  • Do you have any tips on how to choose the right shade of foundation/ concealer?

Because I always go to boots and the foundation that I pick looks right on my hand and then when I come home it looks weird. Also any tips on how to get a spot free face without spending too much money?

  • Lisa, tell me, what is more difficult: to do your own make-up, or to do another person's face?

    Kisses from Brazil

  • @flaviavvs for me its more difficult to do my own face because i have been doing other peoples faces day in day out for over 20 years... must have made up thousands by now! Putting make-up on faces is like second nature to me x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Why do you put so much product on the brushes and then take it all off? Isn't easier to put less product on the brush? Such a waste :(

  • @GabeLoss because whilst you're taking of most of the product on the back of your hand you are actually blending the product in to the bristles of the brush, therefore you'll have a much smoother looking application, and more professional looking. hope this helps, cheers

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom I find it easier to put make up for others (just cousins, for fun) than myself because...I'm too critical of myself and I find it hard to accentuate my strengths :(

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom 20 years!? I thought you were about 26! You look very young, and the quality of your videos is amazing :)

  • @yipyipitsme123 i dont think she is that young. Or are you talkign about something else

  • @jleemkup727 No, I was just saying that she looked very young, I was shocked to hear that she'd been doing makeup for over 20 years...

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom I don't get it. If you have been doing other people faces, then you have done your own even more times. Or, maybe, is in fact that you have less time for your own face because of your work of doing other faces make up?

  • @TheJoshy676 It could be that she sees it from an artist's perspective, like seeing the entirety of the canvass when it's in front of her? I'm just guessing but for me, personally, i find it harder to do other people's make-up (my mum or a friend) whereas I find doing my own so easy. I think it's because I'm familiar of my face shape, skin tone, etc more.

  • @lilac310 MMM... It would be amazing to have her vision of the human face and make up, huh?

  • the bronzor is totally 2 dark, even tho u put just a lil bit, and its very uneven on ur skin

  • @summergirl074 chill out babe.

  • @summergirl074 Speak for urself young lady. I do it everyday! Any problem? :S U dont need to speak for all of us. Goosh! Why cant ppl just watch the tutorial maan.. without being so negative :s

  • You look gorgeous without makeup! I love listening to your voice as well, so glad I found you thru Ingrid ^^

  • SO pretty! I really love the gold rings you wear, where are they from?

  • Love this look, I use Chanel Bronze Base for contouring, it blends so well.

  • She looks like Natalie Portman at the end :)

  • You are absolutely amazing, Lisa!

  • you sound like oxfordjasmine :)

  • Would the Chanel Make up Base work on Asian skin tones?

  • @24kpearl I think so as it´s quite yellow/orange based.

  • I love how you always also what colours could be used for darker skin people.

Although I have fair skin, I find your tips very helpful and \i find it's very nice that you don't leave anybody out.

    You're the best! :)

  • Aren't the Dior palettes aka rosy nude limited edition?

  • I love this look.

  • I love you!

You are so clear when you explain.. even if I'm not english I understand everything! :)

  • What is this face brush you are always using in your vids? hee at 11:34

  • Is Max Factor still available in the US? I can't remember the last time I saw it anywhere.

  • @NashvilleBeauty nope!

  • @NashvilleBeauty Max Factor isn't sold in stores in the US anymore, but I think you can order it from their website.

  • Love your videos! also, you remind me of Christa Miller :)

  • I really can stand foundations in summer. here in Spain is very hot and I have oily skin and with the sweat it gets really gross. is there any solution to this?

  • @EVARUA2 Try a tinted moisturiser with SPF. Protection from harmful UV rays that can ruin your skin, and a light coverage that lets your skin breathe - it's definitely a winner in Spain's climate.

  • so beautiful!!!Thank you!!!

  • beautiful.. i'm so happy i discovered your channel by accident :) now, i'll be probably watching as many videos as i can for the next 24 hours..

  • beautiful.. i'm so happy I discovered your channel by mistake :) i'll be probably watching all of your videos for the next 24 hours..

  • You are so gorgeous.

  • you're fabulous!

  • I LOVE YOUR RINGS. :)

  • so lovely !

  • I'd love to see you do a makeup look on a Black girl :)

  • love your videos and you are fab!

  • I love watching your videos, but I can't use many of the products that you talk about because they aren't cruelty-free (I've been veggie for 7 years now). Most of the companies you use often test on animals :( Doesn't mean that your makeup tutorials aren't fabulous, though!

  • @Freakforphotos if you haven't checked out the pixiwoo youtube channel then do, they don't ever use products from companies that test on animals. :)

  • @testforlove I actually watch their channel regularly, but they do use Clinique, which has no seal of approval from any of the animal rights groups. They've also used Elizabeth Arden and Benefit, as well as L'Oreal, and all of those companies test on animals. I still love them, though =)

  • I've just spent a whole afternoon browsing your website and learning new tips and techniques. Fantastic! It love your honest and fresh approach,

  • I learn so much from you. I appreciate your tutorials and every thing that you do. Thanks, xoxo.

  • GORGEOUS!

  • I am because of you a owner of two dior pallets and I couldn't be happier, they are really amazing. and I have that one which you are wearing now, it truly is beautiful.

  • oh my gosh I love this look! think I may try it out today seeing as the weather is so nice!

  • This is wonderful! It makes me want to practice my make-up skills, and ware natural make-up everyday! Thank you! <3 :3

  • I was wondering, have you ever done make-up on men? I know a lot of artists who sometimes mention drag make-up (traditionally on men of course though it's fabulous for a night out) and mention that this or that would be great for men. But I've never heard you mention make-up for men. So I was just wondering :)

  • I was randomly looking around in TJ Maxx tonight and found the Fusion blush for $8! Got it in the color Bella :) Can't wait to use it!

  • @eveningthought Thanks so much for the suggestion! - I will give it a try.

  • Hi lisa.just wanted to ask as a makeup artist what do u feel are the differences between the chanel quads and dior quints in terms of texture, longevity etc.

  • Hi Lisa - I have oily skin and many foundations seem to almost oxidize on my skin (even with a primer) and end up looking very orange and almost mask like within a couple of hours. I feel like I have a fairly light hand when applying, but this always seems to happen. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can prevent this? Perhaps a certain foundation? Or maybe a certain technique? I would love a light, airy look like this for summer, but don't know how to achieve it...

  • by any chance to you know if they re-released the Dior eyeshadow pallet in 705?

  • Her face was spotty after putting on the bronzer...

  • Hi, Lisa! I'm interested in Rouge Bunny Bouge cosmetics, what do you think about it?

  • Comment removed

  • @ninnains It was a cream-gel bronzer that she used - it wasn't powder :)

  • love it !!! you look amazing

  • Hi Lisa, please can you tell me what the valueis of the Biba Spider fake eyelashes nowadays? Thank you!!

  • Hi Lisa, my husband and I just got back from a trip to London (celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary). I made a list of items that I wanted to get, many of which were recommended by my favorite makeup artist. Got a hold of six of your Boots lip pencils in Nude and Becca Shimmering Illuminator. My husband of course couldn't quite understand the absolute joy for me those items were. But he was happy for me. Thank you so much from Canada. Your videos are always the highlight of my week. I

  • Hi, Lisa! A lovely look for the new season. Thank you very much, I´m learning a lot about makeup with your videos. Your husband had a great idea, congratulations to both of you. I love all the tutorials and I´d like one about eye shadow and giving that especial shape to the outer corner of the eye. I find it quite difficult. Please don´t stop doing this fantastic job. A lot of love from Spain.

  • Could you please do a tutorial on dramatic violet&blue&turquoise eye make up? or sth like that, I mean colourful, kind of party look... xxx
