whats this vet?? heard of 2.3/2.4 Lt sr20 det but never a 2.5 vet?? wtf

The VET came with Nissan's VVT whereas the SR20 did not (some models had VTC which is far less aggressive). SR20VET's made 270hp out of the factory as opposed to 220-250hp SR20 depending on the year. As for the 2.5 litre... I think it's safe to say its bored the fuck out, LOL.

@0ukami correction. the vet is a sr20 but the sr20 also came in ve as sr20ve n/a there is also a sr20ve 20v that made 204hp stock again n/a the sr20 has variances. sr20vet was a engine mated to an awd tranny which makes it a direct drop into fwd sr20 powered cars this is also known as fwd/awd like the nissan pulsar gti-r. sr20vet"s also made 276hp stock and with VVL(not VVT) on only one side not intake and exhasut(emissions reasons). mazworx builds fast sr20's. Corrected.
